I make my German Shepherd Dog's meal fresh daily, mostly consisting of fresh chicken legs or thighs and beef liver from ALDI's and veggies and fruits like broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, apples and blueberries. Even though I do not like the way Dr. Mercola did Dr. Karen Becker one of the most popular veterinarians in the world, I still purchase this vitamin and mineral supplement that Dr. Karen Becker created to ensure my German Shepherd Dogs are not lacking anything. I add this supplement to their diet every other meal.

I've been making my dogs' food since 1 year ago & this year his vet is very happy he is doing so well & that I am using this supplement . He's a happy, energetic healthy boy!

I love Dr Beckers articles. My dogs have not eaten kibbles for years. I make them lean meat,or fish with fresh veggies & add in this meal mix to balance like amino acids etc. They get sliced apples and carrots for treats. Previously I tried other versions at pet store....but this is much better value & high quality. Get your dogs OFF kibbles (esp grain free which are processed at even higher temps which create carcinogens 😮)....at least for 1 meal a day ...and they will be happier, healthy & live much longer. Do your research👍

I have been buying Meal mix for dogs for YEARS! This is a wonderful supplement for dogs!! However, my last order of packets smelled of a strong rotten fish smell. This has NEVER happened and I KNOW this product is either expired or spoiled. At first I thought maybe they changed the formula so I continued to use it. STUPID ME!!!!! My dog got a bacterial infection a bit after we used this box and I have no doubt it was from this seller's rotten product. I threw it away and ordered a new box directly from manufacturer and no problems and no fish smell. BE CAREFUL ordering this from Amazon. If your packets smell like Fish...throw it away! There is barely any smell at all.. I know because I've ordered it for years due to making my pup's food from scratch.

Ok vitamin and mineral supplement but it smells bad to humans --the dogs do not seem to mind because they get it on their homemade dog food and eat it right up. i do not know how it tastes but that doesn't matter

This product takes the guess work out of home meal prep for pet food. I use it on gently cooked as well as raw food. There is a lot of information about home made meals for dogs out on the internet, not all of them well balanced. Now I know that I am including all the correct vitamins, minerals and nutrients my little guy needs. He loves the home made diet. He has stopped scratching. His coat is filling out again.

My 4 year old heeler has had stomach issues since she was a puppy. She would throw up all the time and originally figured it was because she was a puppy, but it continued into adulthood. Even trips to the vet turned up no answers. I would give her just her kibble and a small treat after dinner and that was it, but still no luck no matter how strict with her diet I was. I decided to try and make her homemade food and once I started using this meal mix to make homemade food, it was like she was a brand new dog. I soon realized she was allergic to chicken and dry food. She did not handle either one of those very well. Granted making homemade food is time consuming, but if doing this gives her the quality of life she deserves, I’ll happily do it for the rest of her life.
