As an aging woman who's distance vision is great, I'm finding more and more I need reading glasses. I have regular reading glasses and sunglasses reading glasses but what do I do when I need to drive but I cannot read my phone's GPS instructions? I like to know the name of the street I'm turning on but I just CANNOT read them without reading glasses!! A friend suggested bifocal glasses that are just straight up glasses on the top with no correction and then readers at the bottom and I realized if I could get this in sunglasses, it would be great!! I did an Amazon search and quickly was overwhelmed so shut it all out but Amazon sent me an e-mail (as they often do) with a suggestion of these glasses based on my search history. They were just $20 so about the same as regular sunglasses so I thought "Why not?"I'm SO glad I ordered these! These are my first bifocals so it is taking a little time to get used to them but they are doing JUST what I need them to do. You pretty much can't tell I'm wearing bifocals from looking at me yet I can easily lift my chin a bit and see my phone in the car without an issue! I now know I'm turning onto Croft Place rather than a blur. :) I've been able to sit outside and read without an issue and yet the sunglasses also do their job. I have a big issue with the sun and my eyes and these block enough light but still leave the view bright enough for me to see well. The glasses have nice wide arms so that I don't get a lot of bleed through light on the sides and the glasses fit very well - even when I put them on the top of my head. I am going to order another one or two of these to have as spares and to leave one in the car and one on the boat. HIGHLY recommend them if you're looking for a good pair of sunglasses that will also allow you to read.

These shades are not bad and I'd give them a 3 1/2 if I could. They are stylish, they do the job of blocking the sun well and the reading portion works fine. They are not as comfortable as I'd like so that's the reason for the lower score. The are not very flexible (the frames are a hard plastic) so they pinch my right ear after just a few minutes of wear or so. I tried them for an all day affair and had a major headache from the pressure above my ear. With that said, for the price they are great for me to grab quickly to run out to the mail box or a quick on and off out of the car and into a store. Unfortunately, I'll have to give up stylish for the owl look for comfort for now but I'm not sorry I bought them.

1st, you buy inexpensive you get cheap. That said, these aren't bad. Yea, like others said they sit a bit lopsided, not so much that it's noticeable. My eyes are sensitive to light but these are dark enough except in the brightest sunlight. They're a bit big for my face, but it gives more room to see over the magnifying part. Over all, I got what I paid for. I'll go for better quality next time, but I don't regret buying these.

Well I knew I was taking a chance on these, after reading other reviews that said they didn't sit right. They sit at a slight angle, so that one side especially presses against my cheek. In a nut shell:Pros: Great to be able to read small print while wearing sunglasses. Bifocal line is almost invisible.Cons: Sits crooked on face and general angle of glasses compared to face seems to be a little off. Really dark lenses, remind me of the glasses that people wear after cataract surgery.

These were attractive and the prescription was correct for reading, but they were shaped in such a way that the left lense smashed into my eyelashes and got a greasy spot whenever u wore them. They were not balanced. I had to send them back. Too bad, as I would have otherwise really liked them.

These sunglasses are gorgeous and look great on me.My problem with them is the lens. I do not see well in the dark and these dark, polarized lens make me almost blind without bright light. I think I will have to return them if I can. I'll bet they work great with younger eyes, but then perhaps younger eyes won't need bifocal sunglasses!! Delivered on time in very good shape

I had lost my other bifocal reading sunglasses in the ocean. Oh well, maybe there's a fishy out there who can see better now! I was sure I would never find another pair I would be content with. Au contraire, I love these. The bifocal portion is down low enough that I don't have to bow my head a little to look off in the distance, and I can see my book, my phone, and whatever else I'm looking at right in front of me. The shading isn't very dark so if I step inside for a moment they are not so dark I can't see. In fact they seem to make things a bit brighter without hurting my eyes. Great purchase.

I just got these glasses yesterday. I am very pleased with them. The packaging was excellent meaning that care was taken so that they would not get damaged during shipping. The bifocal seems accurate to me. I ordered a 2.50 and can read just as easily with them as I can with my regular readers. The lense is nice and dark and included with them was a very sturdy and attractive case. I am pleased with this purchase and have ordered another pair so that I have a spare pair for my car.
