Handy little book
This is a nice book to get into mudras. The explanations are clear and conciseand the photographs complement the easy to read text. You will also get the addedbonus of learning about chakras or energy centers of the body that are essential for your health.I found the mudras greatly enhance dexterity of the fingers.

Effective Selection of Mudras
This is an excellent, straight-forward book on Mudras. It has clear instruction for finger positioning to create the desired Mudra, which I prefer to use during meditation. What a gift! I can feel the shift in my energy & am grateful. Thank you so much for putting this together!

A good reference source for anyone interested in balancing their Chakras.
For more than 7 decades I have been fortunate to have studied numerous martial arts and various mind and body health systems, (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Mixed martial arts, Boxing, Tai Chi, Qigong, Zen, Taoism, Yoga, and numerous energy healing methods), and when I saw this 142-page soft cover book on Amazon (Mudras for awakening Chakras: 19 simple hand gestures for awakening & balancing your Chakras by Advait) I bought it.I have read several books in the past on awakening the Chakras, but this is the first one I bought that teaches how to use the hand Mudras to increase the efficiency of the Chakras. I found this book to be very interesting and informative. There are many things that made this book so compelling. The author does not waste time with meaning page fillers but gets right down to specifics of the techniques. He also offers a free 7-day e-mail course that also covers asanas to also help open the Chakras. The chapters are short and to the point. The instructions are easy to follow with photographs showing each of the various Mudras. This manual covers a lot of material such as “What are Mudras? What are Chakras? Mudras for awakening & balancing Muladhaar Chakra/ the root Chakra, Mudras for balancing the Sacral Chakra, the abdominal Chakra, the heart Chakra, the throat Chakra, the third eye Chakra, and the Crown Chakra.Since I teach seniors a seated Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga exercise program and use some hand Yoga Mudras this book has added to my overall knowledge of Mudras that I will pass on to my students.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Taichi/Qigong/Yoga stretching for seniors and the physically challenged).

To the point no nonsense and a quick read
Have been looking into this topic for a while now and this book by Advait is the book I was looking for. To the point , quick read and explained in simple language without any complications. And the free course is icing on the cake. Now am intrigued to take a look at all his other books.. Thanks so much for coming up with this one. I hope you keep coming up with such books. Godbless

Thank You Advait!
What I really enjoyed about this book, is that it had pictures of the mudras, and instructions that made my learning easier. I've been using the mudras for perhaps 2 years now. Thank you for making this information accessible .

Shows how but ...
I loved that all the Murray were thoroughly explained on how to position the hands step by step, also how long, as well as the best position to be in to perform the Mudras, but not what they were for. There were a couple that did state, such as weight loss.I did not check them all, because I lost interest after not knowing what each was for, like what was the point.I definitely didn't want to hold a position lets say for weight loss and I was already under weight (just an example)...Other than that I would have given 5 stars, but now I must go to yet another source for clarity...
