Christmas Lighting LED Rope Light 150ft White II w/ Connector

When I order this I never expected how bright and easy to work with. My husband cut some smaller piece and it light up nice.

We put them on our pvc fence using picknic table cloth clips to hold it down to the top surface of the fence. It provides the right amount of light to the back yard around the fence. What I do not like is the rope light is starting to turn yellow in places from being out in the sun. We have only used the rope for a few months so we do not know how long it will last or perform over the long haul

The lights have been working continuously for weeks now without a problem. Very easy to work with and very resilient from shock. I mounted the lights in a track that Hampton bays makes(home depot sells it) and had to use a rubber mallet to tap it in. No problems at all! I bought 300 feet so far and will buy more. Great product!

I bought this rope to provide some accent lighting around the perimeter of an outdoor, covered patio. The problem is that there were two sections that didn't work out of the box. That means that before I even started I had to repair two sections. Of course, I didn't realize they didn't work until I was already done and plugged it in to check. That part was definitely my fault. The instructions said not to leave the lights on while they are rolled up on the spool. I did check them and it seemed that they were fine when I started. However, I should have check periodically to see if their were burned out lights periodically. Since then, I have done this to add accent lighting in two other applications. In both cases, the lights were solid throughout. The other annoying feature of this rope light is that the cut locations aren't marked. In my case, the sections were burned out so it was a no brainer where to cut. However, to cut the replacement pieces, that's a whole new guessing game. All in all, there are other, slightly less expensive rope lights on the market that, at least for me, have worked much better.

I bought 3 rolls of these lights to use as lighting on my deck and I'm not impressed. They are definitely bright and looked quite nice initially, but within less than a month sections of the lights just stop working or would go dimmer than other sections. It appears that the areas that are exposed to sunlight are the ones that are more affected, so clearly they do not have the temperature sensitivity or UV Resistance as they claim in their listing.

These light are a very nice product and I am completely satisfied with the quality. They look excellent as I put them in a routed groove around the fascia of my veranda. We'll see how long they last but usually LED's last a very long time. I liked that the rope could be cut at three foot intervals. I'll buy more if I decide to put them around the upper floor as well.

as stated above these lights are not as weather proof once put into place and in a significant rain event had issues and not that easy to configure

I ran these about 10 feet in the air attached to affixed rope. They gave off a sufficient amount of light for the festival my organization was hosting. The one thing to be aware of while affixing this rope to anything is: because of the way the LEDs are engineered, they have a front (light) and back (no light) side. Be sure to place the font side towards the area you want lit.They use VERY little energy. I ran them using a small GoalZero solar battery station. The entire 150’ ran for 3 hours using this set-up.I didn’t have to cut/re-attach any part of the rope, I used the entire piece at once, so I can’t attest to this process.I only gave them four stars because of the LED front-side/back-side facing issue.
