They look good, they feel good and they hold up
I've held off on reviewing in order to assess durability. It's been about 6 months now and I can tell you, these shoes are bomb. They look good, they feel good and they hold up. For a time I considered them one of my nicer pair of shoes, so I wouldn't hike or run in them too much. That lasted a month. I wear them for pretty much any occasion now. My only regret is that I never figured the correct size. After one exchange I wasn't going to send 'em back again. I usually wear a 9.5, and I think I'll need an 8.5 in these. So I wold recommend .5-1.0 size lower than whatever you typically wear. I will absolutely buy these again when they finally break/wear through.Note: I usually wear through shoes very fast (within 6 months) and these shoes are barely showing any signs of wear. Appears to be quality leather and the seams must be reinforced with something on the inside, because none of the stitches have failed!

Great black shoes for official FFA dress
Purchased these for my son who is an FFA member. He attended the Washington leadership conference and had to be in official dress quiet a bit so comfortable shoes were a must. He lives in Twisted X shoes and when he found these it was a no brainer. He said his feet never hurt or got tired unlike others who had traditional dress shoes on.

beware of the sole
The sole of the Shoe has leather sewn through it, Which means you will be tracking your leather through mud, dirt, and whatever else you walk through. Stitching and all have to go through. Then how would you clean that? Twisted X is known in the cowboy world and cowboys are not wearing them behind a desk so not sure what they were thinking here.

Dry weather climate only!!
As for comfort and style, these are great. However, living in a snowy/wet climate, these shoes are impossible to keep looking good. I got them for Christmas, and sprayed with weather proofing agent immediately. I have also rubbed saddle soap protective products on them 3-4 times in 2 months. Despite this, anytime these shoes touch snow, they stain terribly! I have never owned a pair of leather shoes that stain from similar wear like these. Disappointed!!

Not just for driving
I had a pair of chukka boots many years ago. So when I was looking for a comfortable shoe for everyday wear and everyday driving (I hate tennis shoes), I decided to give Twisted X a try. I was not disappointed. Coincidentally, the weekend after I received my driving moc's, my band had a gig. As a professional drummer, I am particular about the shoes I play in. Long story short, I forgot my normal foot wear and was forced to play in my new Twisted X Driving Moc's.

Great mocassins. I've been looking for something like these for 40 years. Saw a pair at an airport, and now I own my own. Absolutely love them! Comfortable. Had to go through the "size too large" drill and get a replacement in an smaller size, but couldn't be happier.
