No drone is beginner proof, but this one is close... buy a Sim!
The biggest issue with drones and FPV racing specifically is the amount of crummy product flooding the market. I've bought a lot of drone kits... and a lot of FPV drone kits. They all sucked. They sucked so bad I vowed to never spend another dollar on the hobby. Either you have to go all in at around $1000+ for the good stuff, or light hundred dollar bills on fire with the cheap garbage.Enter Emax. Enter TinyHawk 2. You're saying there's a kit that comes with a decent controller, a sturdy looking drone, and an actual FPV headset? And it's under $200? And reviewers across the internet agree it is the real deal? Fine, I will try drones one more time.It was the biggest mistake of my life... because NOW I'M HOOKED.I broke the first one that came with this kit and had to buy another because I'm hooked! (incidentally you might want to buy a simulator like DRL Simulator and do your learner crashes digitally)I upgraded to a real controller, bought more batteries, a better charger to charge them all, and soon I will get one of them newfangled expensive Fat Shark goggles! I can't stop spending money now because flying drones is actually fun!My bank account is empty, my house is cluttered with makeshift racing gates, and my wife left me. It's all thanks to Emax and the TinyHawk 2!!TL;DR If you buy this kit and a $10 drone simulator to practice on while you wait for it to come, you will be addicted to FPV drone racing.

complete package for great price.
I am new to drones and needed a start up kit to get me going. Getting into drones can be very overwhelming. There is a lot to learn. This kit simplifies everything. It comes ready to fly. I really don't know how they can afford to include this much in the bundle for the low price. I shopped around, a lot. I spent a lot of time on youtube watching reviews of various first time drones for beginners. I am extremely happy with this product. In addition to the awesome beginner drone EMAX has a great support team. You will need to create a help ticket by going to their website, but this has not been an issue. I have contacted them with a few beginner issues and each time the responded quickly. They were sure to address my issues. My questions were bonehead beginner questions and they still took the time to make sure I didn't give up on this hobby due to a noob setback. Bravo for an affordable, well put together beginner kit with great customer support.

Wanted to like this drone BUT!!!
Bought this for my 15yo son. Got everything set up and went into the yard and test it out. First lift off was great. Ran through the first battery. On the second battery he flew around and decided to land the drone and when he tried to take off again the drone wouldn’t move. I reset everything and bind the quad and radio together. Still nothing. Hooked the drone up to beta flight and it will not connect. Started a refund process.Shipped the drone back to the seller thru ups on 1/4/24, the next day I checked tracking and it said the package was in another state going towards its destination which was great. So I forgot about it. On 1/11/24 I checked Amazon to see if my refund been issued and it wasn’t. Checked ups tracking and it said. There is no information on that tracking number. And it said the same thing on 1/12. On 1/17 at 7:30am I decided to contact Amazon customer service and after 2 minutes the lady issued me the full refund. oddly couple hours later I get a email saying my package has been excepted. I then checked the ups tracking and it still said no info.Seems like they tried to pull a quick one on me to rip me off.I’d stay away from this company

Wont flyout of the box CONSTANT YAW PROBLEM WONTTRIM OUT.
I expected it to be hands off as far as calibration goes. But that is not true of this. I would of given up right away if I didn't have a couple of years experience with making and flying drones. I could NEVER get the yaw to trim out. I wisent that bad maybe 1rpm, but what the hell I started trimming it and all the sudden that yaw problem reversed itself. So against my better judgment I reset all the bases with beta flight. They were off up to 17deg none were right on. So I set all to zero. Result...Wont bind..........This is just short of junk. I think it has a bent frame on the yaw problem. As far as the bind I might try flashing it to a Frysky receiver image. All this bull for a new Drone...No thanks Ill spend my money on something better next time. Send it back hell no got better things to do than argue with tech support and the god dam mail system. I am done with this brand. BTW the cammra and transmitter do work surprisingly good for the price. If I only had something to mount that VTX on it
