This book is perfect for little ones...especially if they have an interest in dance. These stories have been around for decades and they even have an animated tv show now. The books are hardcover and the pages are paper, so it is certainly more age appropriate for kids who have moved beyond the hardboard pages for books. Kids love it and do parents! I would recommend for ages 3 and up.

This book holds a special place in the hearts of 30-something year olds that now have little dancers. The illustrations are so charmingly detailed with little bits spilling over the boarders of the pictures. The last page allows readers to see all the roles of production- box office, prop master, orchestra, usher, light operator, stage hand. So many things to notice and talk about beyond just the story. Another excellent book to gift a young dancer.

It's hard to believe that I hadn't already reviewed this wonderful book...I read it to my own children over 30 years ago. Now I'm reading it to my grandchildren - and they love it just as much!I got a copy of the board book because I know my new granddaughter will enjoy turning (and perhaps gumming) the pages. What is it about this story that makes it relevant over three decades after it was written? The character, sweet goal-oriented Angelina...and the setting...a happy family with loving supportive parents...and the theme...how will Angelina find a way to dance her way to happiness. The author succeeds in touching our hearts because she writes from her own.As a kindergarten teacher and mom, I appreciate the thoughtful text, beautiful illustrations and timely timeless message. A childhood favorite of mine, and must-have for any ballet-loving parents or kiddos. I love the sweet illustrations and enjoy reading this with my child!

I bought it for my granddaughter and I am hoping she loves it. The book is colorful, very cute, the story is very sweet and entertaining. Any female would enjoy it.

It’s said the book was used, but very good condition. I figured it would have a few blemishes or creases. When I received it there was only a very tiny crease on the cover page, and that was it. It looked brand new! Exceeded my expectations and will ordering from them again.

Es un buen libro para pequeños apasionados por el ballet. Las ilustraciones son lo más valioso de libro pues la historia en sí es bastante básica. Lo recomiendo para niñas de máximo 7 años.

I bought Angelina Ballerina so I can get the upset of the storylines of the TV show out of my head. It's such a sweet book, tells how Angelina's passion for ballet and her days at Miss Lily's came to be. I desperately want to try cheddar cheese pies! How about you?
