Orthodox and clear
This was my favorite book I’ve read on the issue. I attend the Latin Mass and Novus Ordo and I believe it’s “kosher” to both communities. Packed with quotes from the saints, it’s been incredibly helpful in my assessment of scrupulous thoughts. This coupled with the 10 Commandments For Scrupulous People is a game changer!

Every Catholic suffering from scruples should read this book
Thanks be to God for this simple, straightforward book for suffering Catholics. The real treasure in this book (which I have not even finished yet, but has already been an enormous help to me) are the quotes from the saints, especially St. Alphonsus Liguori and St. Francis de Sales, which the scrupulous can read and find great consolation in knowing that they suffered as we did here on Earth and now they behold the face of our Heavenly Father for eternity. Additionally, Beattie's writing is simple, straightforward and comforting - a must for the agonizing scrupulous person. Do not hesitate to read this book.

Best book on the subject
This is the best book I have across on scrupolousity and it has helped me tremendously! Unlike some other sources on scrupolousity, this book doesnt have even the shadow of heterodoxy/modernism.

An Informative and Humorous Antidote for Scrupulous Souls
For anyone suffering paranoia, worry, or confusion about sanctity and Catholocism, this book is a wonderful antidote. The text was brief enough to digest quickly, full enough to tie loose ends of the trickiest questions, and light enough in tone to make reading this a pleasure. The only thing I had an issue with was a few grammatical and spelling mistakes. They are minor enough not to confuse with understanding of the text, but still, you'd think the editors would be more careful when proofreading.

Great book!
I highly recommend this book to those people suffering from scruples and to those who are around them. Written in a very accessible language that everybody can understand. Very helpful not only for Catholics who suffer from scruples but also very instructive for any person who takes his or her faith seriously because it clarifies many details about what constitutes mortal sin, when and why. It is a book that can give great peace of mind.
