I am impressed!
Like many others I have read reviews for big units and small ones not really sure what I wanted / needed. I knew we had wet windows in the morning and some mould was also forming in our under stairs drawers. One review made me commit to this one......don't buy a small one.It is a nice looking compact unit. The fan isn't too noisy, just like having a normal fan on. In less than 1 day we collected the amount shown in the photo. We didn't have it on overnight but we definitely noticed a different this morning.....no condensation halfway up the window. We live in a 3 bedroom house and I plan to move it about a bit depending if there is washing drying or not. It is heavier than i expected but not so bad I can't safely carry it up the stairs.I am glad we paid the money and got a decent on rather than a £20 mini one. I have a wash on now just to see how much moisture that sucks up.

Perfect
After a lot of research this seemed to come out on top for functions available, simplicity to use and more importantly cost. (12ltr model..150W which amounts to around 4p per hour at £0.34p/ KW) ….we have been running this for 12 hours a day for over a week now and barely see a cost difference. In the range of pence not pounds..you can turn the fan down which helps in both cost AND volume and doesn’t seem to effect efficiency. Laundry mode (or beast mode) will dry your clothes in a day and the cost difference of averagely £1.50 per hour for a tumble dryer VS 4p per hour for this.(12 ltr model) .!!!..no contest..our room in a week has gone from damp bedding and clothes and wall mould (as we live in an old Victorian properly) to being dry, warmer and damp has gone..in the first 3-4 days it extracted the full 12 ltr capacity and now the room is dryer it extracts around 6 ltrs a day..what more could you want..with minimal cost. I have recommended this to many since this purchase.

Would buy another if I needed to
We bought this almost 2 years ago because having had the extractor fan in our bathroom replaced, it never really worked properly and then died completely fairly quickly. This works very well, we just have to remember to empty the tank from time to time but that is our failing not the machine’s. I was so pleased with its performance that I tried to buy one for my son but sadly it was out of stock

Wet to work, straight out of the box - zero condensation.
The headline: On first use, cleared my overnight condensation issue.- Size: big enough to do the job, compact enough not to be an eyesore.- Noise: on low setting, overnight was fine for me as background 'white noise' though may be too much for light sleepers.- Easy to move around different rooms, a little heavier than it looks. All weight in the base - lift from there - very easy & feels light to move between floors. My problem: I bought a humidity checker, bedroom: 45% when I turned in & 70% when I woke up with wet condensation filled windows - turned out, I needed a dehumidifier. On delivery plugged it in & left running. Humidity was 45% when I turned in & 45% when I woke up with zero condensation & a half full tank of water: problem solved.Could be better: Manual, text size is small - PDF online would be nice.

Bad company
The dehumidifier came on time!It worked well ...... for a couple of weeks and then stopped collecting water .... fan still ran, motor worked but didn't dry the air!I thought I would give the company a fair chance (things go wrong .... it is how you fix it that matters)After several long phone calls with them verifying I was not in fact a numpty and had it switched on propperly .... we entered a phase of delaying tactics (or they just had no clue of what was wrong and did not want to believe what I was saying) I gave up on the phone calls and progressed with e-messaging ........ and after a fortnight of me being asked to be patient, take photo and video evidence and wait for them to pass it to the correct team for "Action" ...... I gave up!One short message to Amazon and the refund was in my account the same day I posted it back .... free of charge via my local Hermes pick up point!I give Amazon 10/10 ........ and Ansio 2/10 (it worked well when it did work)The fault was (I believe) a loss of gas from the compressor, which would have needed regassing to work and repair to stop it repeating! All fairly obvious when you know how it works ...... a shame Ansio lost all interest after the sale! I think they will rethink their 2 year warranty on this!Chose another dehumidifier! ..... as I have done.

Game changer
This has been a game changer for us drying clothes in our 2 bed maisonette - clothes could stay wet for 3 days before we got this. Now they are dry in 1. since then we have moved house and have a tumble dryer but we still use this daily upstairs to help with bathroom moisture and condensation on the upstairs windows. honestly wouldn’t be without it. My only wish was that it stored more water but didn’t have to be any bigger in size haha

Superb purchase!
I spent hours researching the reason for black mold and how to get rid of it. It would appear that drying clothes on radiators, hot showers and the weather was adding moisture (humidity) into our house. Causing black mold and probably not helping my sons asthma.Spending further hours researching the different types of dehumidifiers. I could not decide between buying two cheap (£35) dehumidifiers (1 for each bedroom) or this. In the end, obviously, I went with this one and I am so glad I did.The first afternoon it cleared around 4 litres of water from my son's room. The next day was the first time his windows did not have condensation. It did the same in my bedroom, the next day.We have cleared around 50 litres of water out of the air in the first 4 days. You can actually feel the change in humidity when you walk from one room to another (a room that has been dehumidified and one that hasn't)
