After unpackaging, took all of 15 seconds to hook it up. Fit like a glove, tried it out and it is working like new. Didn't even realize my old hose had cuts where the hose bends, significantly reducing suction. Good price and high quality - highly recommend.

This is a great replacement and works just like the original even though it says upgraded. Switching it out took 30 seconds. Fits perfect and works great. Just wish they had added the round white piece that snapped into the back to keep the hose from swinging.Other than that it's perfect. Great buy, great price.

This looks to be a well-made replacement for the OEM. It attaches to the sweeper at each end perfectly. As others have mentioned, there is no retainer ring included on the hose. But it looks as though the Shark replacement hose does not include the ring either. It's a shame that the Shark design is not more serviceable. All things considered, the best solution is to carefully cut through the ring on the original hose with a hack saw. Then the ring will easily spread apart enough to be removed and re-installed onto the new hose. Once there, you can use some glue to mend the cut.

This part saved my vacuum's life! Super easy changeout and everything working good as new. Great alternative to buying a new vacuum.

I’ve had this vacuum for many years and I love the suction power it has. My hose had seen its better days and I had duct tape all over it until it finally gave out way up by the handle. I was considering just having to buy a whole new vacuum, so I was amazed when I found this to replace it and it fits perfectly. The only reason I did not give it. A five star review is because it does not come with a clip like Was on my other one that fits in the back of the machine to hold the hose. I didn’t consider it a “big deal” as it never stayed in anyway. For this price…wow, saved me some money, plus more money saved since I didn’t have to buy a new vacuum!!

The hose fit better than the original attachment. I always had a problem with unlatching the upper part of the hose. The new attachment works very well.
