Hadar butterfly is dominated by red and blue colors on one side and green purple and orange on the other side. David Gerstein has always been fascinated by nature; From cats to horses, birds to donkeys and more, and of course butterflies, for which he holds a special place in his heart. Those wonderful creatures manifests in this ten wall mounted butterflies sculpture series. Each butterfly has its own design, colour scheme and style. Each side of the butterfly is colored differently, allowing you to choose your favourite side and display it however you wish. Each butterfly is made of light aluminium laser cut to perfection. The little butterfly eyes at the top of its body are actually holes which allow you to mount it to the wall using a couple of screws (not supplied). An alternative would be a double sided tape, a fishing line, or similar. Please note the butterfly is shipped flat, meaning the wings and body are flat. Our recommendation is to choose the side you prefer to display and gently fold the wings to taste (Don’t worry they were made to be bent, but be gentle still). Once folded you are ready to mount it to your wall, ceiling, window or anywhere you like. Outdoor mounting is also possible, but we do not recommend it due to weather conditions which may damage the lacquer finish in time. Collect as many butterflies as you like and place them together as a beautiful group. They definitely light up a room and create a vibrant lively feeling. Fun fact - The butterflies are names after people Gerstein knows in person, such as his wife, daughter, and co workers he is particularly fond of.
