I'm using this to draw in cooler nighttime air into our desert located garage on a timer, so we needed something small enough to fit in the lower vent window that also had a manual on/off knob so we didn't have to press anything when the timer goes on/off. After a season of use it's getting a little louder, so I don't expect this to last forever but for the price this was a good niche solution.
