The quality of these connectors is absolutely perfect. For people who are using this type of connector it is as good as it can possibly be.

I only needed one of these connectors. It allowed me to install a backup battery on a computer built in 1984 to the outside of the cabinet so if it leaks it doesn't damage the system board. Also used a film canister to hold any leakage in case it actually happens.The product came with pin headers for mounting to a circuit board. I didn't need that but I don't recall seeing those in the product description.

Tried to connect power to a Minnards O scale house. Found that they utilize this size for there connections.Don't get the 2.0s they are too small.This worked perfectly.

Genius! A nice sharp firm snap when a phono jack is inserted. A solid connection. I love that you can hold on to the fastening nut and turn the body of the unit, almost light tightening a key. It gives you a lot of torque to tighten the mount. Super easy to get the unit firmly attached. The three screw down terminals make it so easy to prototype or just build permanently. Just one suggestion. I wish the screws had a deeper slot on their heads, or maybe even better, a Philips head.

This is a very high-quality 2.5mm JST-XH Connector. You will not find better quality. Having said that, be sure to check the polarity on this as that is not standardized, most products have Red on the left side, this has Red on the right side. As I said, it's a great product, just be sure the polarity is correct for your application--check the picture carefully.If you read about 2.5mm or 2.54mm, the difference is so minute that is not a factor. But this is an XH connector, and those are 2.5mm. RE is 2.54mm.
