Works great, I highly recommend it.
I purchased this to be used in a home recording studio and I am very happy with the purchase. A couple things I want to clarify for other potential buyers: they recommend 48 hours of out of package decompression time before hanging the tiles, i actually gave them a full week and found every one of the 200+ tiles I bought had puffed up perfectly, if you can wait that long its well worth it. There is no adhesive backing included with the product so you will need to find a way to hang it that is appropriate for your situation - i used spray adhesive because i own the location and don't plan on selling. If I was renting the space I would look into command strips and cardboard backing. Also, as many others have said this is an acoustic treatment product, not a soundproofing product. Its purpose is to reduce mid to high end echo in a space, it will do nothing to keep people from hearing what's going on in the room or to lessen the sound from outside. Finally, if you can't afford to do a 60%+ coverage like I did you will need to have some understanding of the physics involved in acoustic management. YouTube has many great videos on this subject. I suggest you check them out before purchasing. This is an affordable product that I feel performs well above what I expected.l, I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about acoustic treatment.

I use poster board and thumb tacks for backing not ruin the main wall. Then got two cans 3m self adhesive spray. 13x8 foot wall take 3 orders of 48.

Overall, good product
For a few weeks I researched different panels for my studio. Decided to give this product a chance. Wasn't disappointed.THICKNESSOf course, I'd prefer it to be a bit thicker, but for the studio in my basement, which is relatively small, this thickness does the job.PRICEI was a bit disappointed in price for this product. I strongly believe it's way overpriced. In my opinion, it should have been at least a half the cost that I paid.ADHESIONFor the price they're asking this product is somewhat worthless without providing adhesion.Although I recommend this product, they should definitely lower the price and provide adhesion.

Not the real deal
I used this to cover the entire wall both sides that’s between my bedroom and my brothers cause he works second shift and wakes me up at night. It made a small difference but I know from experience that this isn’t the real deal for noise absorption. Commercial grade is what you want. The real foam used in a quiet room at my job is at least 4” thick and very dense. This is an over priced waste of money

Works for the price
Definitely not "professional quality", but it does isolate noise and natural reverb if placed properly. Btw, idk what kind of foam this actually is, but it really doesnt like to stick to much. I originally was just going to use double sided tape to save my walls.... Nope... Spray adhesive ... Nope... After a week of failed attemots to just stick to the wall I ended up using tacky glue combined with spray adhesive and roughly 70% of them are actually stuck to the wall, thankfully they hold themselves in place fairly well.So only 4 stars on the mark that these panels really dont wanna stay stuck to much, but for acoustic treatment just to be able to record clear quality sound... You can't really beat these. I plan on buying more later on for additions to my studio and acoustic treating other rooms.

Great product! Would buy again
Great foam panels. Thickness is good, absorbency was good, adhesion was pretty decent. I did have to go back & spray a few panels more, but that was my fault for not applying enough adhesive spray the first time.
