Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Facial Moisturizer for Sensitive, Dry Skin with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen, Feverfew & Nourishing Oat, Oil-Free and Hypoallergenic, Basic, Unscented, 4 Fl Oz

I'm a guy and have had dry, sensitive skin since I was about 25. I mean as in red and raw in the winter, and sometimes flaking off. I've used Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Shiseido, and various other products. I even had a doctor prescribe Metrogel for rosacea, but it completely dried out my skin. Clinique worked for me, but about every 4 to 6 months, it would make me break out as if I had grown sensitive to it. I had to switch off and go back on after a week or so--and it still never worked as well as Aveeno Ultra Calming.I had had bad luck with other drugstore-type products, so I wasn't expecting much when I tried Aveeno, but that was about 4 years ago, and I've used nothing else since. My skin is clear, it's not dry and doesn't flake, and for the first time in my life (at least since my mid-20s), I don't look like I have rosacea. I don't know what they do, but this stuff is AMAZING! It costs less than all of those brands mentioned above, and it goes on smooth and is absorbed quickly by the skin. It's not oily, and there's no residue. As someone else mentioned in a review, I don't know what I'd do if they stopped making this product. It's incredible and easily better--at least for me and my incredibly sensitive skin--than products costing 4 to 5 times as much.I also use the Aveeno Calming foaming cleanser, and I like that too, although I sometimes like to use something just a little stronger to get the top layer of dead skin off. Right now I use a Biore sensitive scrub every week or two, but for everyday use, I always go back to the Aveeno foaming cleanser.I saw that someone mentioned that they discontinued the SPF 30 (2.5 oz). That's too bad, because it was an excellent product in its own right. It went on a little thicker than the SPF 15, and it was a little more expensive, but I liked to use it occasionally, especially in the summer--because most sunscreens make me turn bright red just from putting them on.The best product for sensitive skin I've found, bar none.

I love aveeno products and this one does not disappoint. It doesn’t leave a white or greasy residue. My skin is adult acne prone and sensitive. I have been using this everyday for a week and no pimples no rash. My face feels lightly moisturized and soft while wearing. I use a vitamin c serum by insta naturals under it most of the time. I tone prior to that with L’Oréal hyrdafresh alcohol free toner and use mistiian essence mist too. No need for extra moisturizer. I will continue to buy this and I highly recommend it.

We live in high altitude and dry Colorado. This is the BEST product I've found for sensitive, dry skin that develops in this climate. I'm a Southern gal, use to a lot of heat and humidity, so finding the right product for our new location was a really hard challenge. Aveeno with "feverfew" is it! My skin is now baby soft, supple and redness is greatly diminished. With this product, I don't even use foundation. A little lipstick and other basic product enhancements is all I need! And, I'm keeping my skin in great shape w/o wrinkling or freckles with the use of this product and hats. See you on the trails!

I have counted on this product for decades. It provides wonderful, complexion calming moisturization for my sensitive skin, and I enjoy the ease of having sunscreen included in the formula. My only disappointment has been that the SPF level of the sunscreen is only 15.One bottle lasts a very long time. I learned just after this order that there is a newly updated version. Eventually I will order the new one, which I expect to be even better.

I've become religious about this lotion. I was originally intrigued by the "calming" guarantee since I have super reactive/dry Utah skin. I loved it, because it really does seem to calm down irritated skin and the acne that I got with it. Then , a cosmetologist criticized me for my drugstore lotion, and I tried all the expensive stuff-- glymed, natura bisse, etc. They were all nice but my face still ended up feeling dry, itchy and irritated in the evenings with increased redness and breakouts. I've gone back to Aveeno and my skin feels like its stopped freaking out again. Great product, good price, thanks Aveeno. The only other product I've found to be as calming is a glymed botanical face mask that is Frankenstein green and I just couldn't figure a way to wear it out of the house or afford it on a regular basis. wink.

This is a nice, light moisturizer with SP15 sunscreen. The best thing is that it is absorbed into the skin so quickly. My daughter uses it and recommended it to me. I had been using a department store brand that cost much more and had no sunscreen so I decided to give this on a try. So far, so good! If you are allergic to or sensitive to alcohols or some scents, this is not for you. There is no added perfume, but the ingredient thathelps calm the skin, feverfew, apparently has a slight odor. It is hardly noticeable to me, but some people may not want it.

I love this moisturizer! I've been using it for a couple years now, and it's the best thing I've tried so far. It soaks into my skin so it doesn't get oily. It also works well as a primer- just make sure to give it about 10 minutes to really soak in before applying makeup on top. It's only 15 spf, so I don't think it's going to prevent a sunburn (especially if you are very fair and prone to burning, like me). But a little daily sunscreen is better than no sunscreen, right?

I love this product. I use it as a moisturizer and sunscreen. It works well and it is not greasy feeling on my face. It is the best I've ever used. I wish that Aveeno would market it in stores again. Buying online is ghastly expensive no matter how great the product.
