Excellent!
I just started getting back into graphic novels and this was a great one to start with. Great artwork, tremendous depth to the story... Top notch all around.

I am happy to report that it has not disappointed at all
I only began reading graphic novels at 62 years young. I was a late but eager starter I suppose. My first read was the Big Damn Sin City only because I was so enamored with the film version a few years ago. So from my perspective, the benchmark against which 100 Bullets is pitted is Damned Big. I am happy to report that it has not disappointed at all. However I am left baffled by the prices I see for volume two. My advice is to shop the brick and mortars before you pay too much on A for this issue. $80-160? Seriously.. .I found a new copy of 100 Bullets: The Deluxe Edition Book Two for $49.99 at a comic book store in San Diego. Happy reading.Matt C.

Judge, Jury, Executioner
I am a fan of what DC is doing with their hardcovers. Doing hardcover editions of Preacher, Ex Machina, Y the Last Man, Fables, and other greats. So when they started with 100 Bullets I was very very excited.Volume 2 contains issues #20-36 which were collected in the TPBs "A Forgone Tomorrow" and "The Counterfifth Detective". Now, I'm not going to go into detail about each story arc, because if you're reading this then you're familiar with them. I will say though that it's nice to have Eduardo Risso's art in a larger format, and it's nice to have the script to #20 (where Benito meets up with Shepard). The dustjacket is nice and glossy too like most of the others (Not sure Y the Last Man was in a paper stock). And I love having Milo's mug on the spine, so when it's on my bookshelf next to vol 1, you have him sitting next to Graves. So if you're a fan of 100 Bullets make the jump. Convert your floppies or TPBs to the hardcover edition. Sure, you'll lose the cute numeric play on words that the TPBs have but you'll have beautiful slightly oversized artwork to make up for that.

Go for this!
If you like 100 Bullets, I wouldn't hesitate buying this. The quality is solid with nice, oversized pages sporting beautiful coloring making the art all the more appealing. A note on the story arcs, I found The Counterfifth Detective to be somewhat confusing which means I have to start reading the next in the series ASAP. Overall I think this is crime noir at its very best ranking up there with Criminal and Sin city - that deserves a deluxe edition. Now I'm just waiting for them to do the same with Scalped, but who am I kidding!?
