a little annoying to fill bc you have to take the entire thing apart but thats expected :) my bird gets excited every time i refill his wheel and he spends quite a while taking his favorite food pieces out first. fun alternative to a feeding dish. (introduce this along w a food bowl if ur going to try moving them over to this as a main feeding dish. my bird was a little scared of it at first but he also has major bird anxiety so maybe thats just a him problem)

The media could not be loaded. This was instantly a big hit with my rats! They figured it out in no time, and it helped slow them down on their consumption of snacks.While installing it on their cage, it was easier to get someone to help me put the washers and wing nuts on the outside than to try to hold it and fasten it myself..I probably could have managed on my own, though.DO NOT over-tighten the wing nuts, or the acrylic will crack. Mine did on one side. An extra set of washers for the portion that goes inside the cage may help prevent this. For the time being, it's holding together alright.

No instructions were included. There was no indication that there was a protective coating on both sides of the disk that needed to be removed. If not removed it could cause choking. The phlange broke off while attaching it to the cage. Not safe, easily broken, leaves sharp edges. Not worth returning. Just don't buy it.

A lot bigger in person than I expected, in a good way. I got this for my pet rats and was worried their little hands wouldn't be able to get in to get out treats. But that wan't a problem. Perfect to fit, but also a bit challenging. So many rat lovers love this product. I was so excited to finally get this after waiting for it to go on sale. However I was disappointed with the quality and returned it. I understand it needs to spin but it wouldn't stay flush against my Critter Nation cage, there was a big gap between the base and the spinning part and one of the screws was a bit loose.

I bought this for my pet rats as an enrichment toy. They love pulling treats out of it. It works as advertised, and all the pieces feel pretty thick and well crafted.The only complaint I have is that it's hard to clean. The only way to get at the inside is to take the wheel off the cage and disassemble the whole thing. For this reason, I only use it with dry treats so that I don't need to clean often!Overall I'm satisfied with this product. It adds some foraging enrichment with little effort on my part.

Plastic where the screw goes through to latch it to the cage broke after a month of use. Single cockatiel. She loved it so we will get another one just somewhere else.

I have yet to put it in my rat cage yet, it spins easily and is a very good size for rat pellets (I use oxbow) I'm excited to see how they use it. I'm putting yogurt treats in one slot to see is my rats are smart enough to spin it to get the yogurt treats out. Size is compared with keys and my hand.

My rats love this, my only complaint is that the holes in which they grab the food out of don't balance to the top every time. Its about 50/50, the placement also allows treats and food to easily fall out (I've switched to putting main diet in the top and more high value treats/food down below) It holds air very well which I could see being a problem if you live in a high humidity area and or if it got wet somehow (could be a bacterias playground) but if you are willing to wash it every few days its worth it. It doesn't 1in bars which sucks a little but that can be fixed with zipties. All 3 of my boys love it, and I love watching them forage using this. I do like that its clear so its easy to see inside. Relatively easy to assemble and disassemble as well. I would probably buy it again if a need ever arises for a 2nd.
