Glows bright
Yarn made very well. The glow is bright. You need to expose it to bright light for about a minute. The longer it gets light, the brighter and longer the glow. Made a bunch ofcrocheted ghosts and a hat. No pulls in the yarn. Yarn doesnt pull apart easily. Found it very easy to work with. I just wish it was softer. But overall great yarn.

The Glow Doesn't Disappoint!
The big question is.... would I recommend it? Absolutely! But just be aware of how much (or little) yarn you'll be buying especially if you have plans to make a garment such as a hat or scarf. One little 70 yd skein will not be enough for that. It's hardly enough to crochet a decent sized washcloth but it does have entertainment value and it'll be lots of fun to crochet small amigurumi toys or to use as embellishments.I'm WOW'd by the glow! I can't say enough good things about how well it glows. I took it outside for only a minute or two and when I brought it inside it was glowing even with daylight shining in the room so I absolutely love how well this yarn glows in the dark and in the light. It's amazing!! As you can see in my photo, in the dark, it emits a very bright green photoluminescence on the white towel it's sitting on. I would give it 10 stars for the glow alone if I could; BUT, I was rather disappointed about its thickness even after reading the specs before purchasing it. I will post a picture of the itty bitty glowing polyester skein sitting next to a regular and a jumbo sized acrylic skein... all 3 skeins of which are rated "4-weight" yarn.I've never used polyester yarn and I thought this DIY Glow 4-Weight yarn would be comparable in thickness to acrylic 4-weight yarn but DIY Glow is Polyester and it doesn't seem as thick so I will now have to alter my Crochet design.I now know how different this yarn is from the acrylic yarn I've been using. It does feels like good quality yarn. It's soft and feels nice on my skin but I won't pay $6.99 for a tiny 70 yd skein again even if it does glow especially if I can catch it on sale again at Joann for $5.I would have rated it five stars across the board if it had been a little bit thicker or if there had been a little bit more yardage on the skein for the price. As I mentioned, I could have gotten it on sale for a couple dollars cheaper but I wouldn't have been able to get it as quickly. What can I say... I've been spoiled with Next and Same Day Delivery! : o)

Nice fingering weight glow in the dark yarn
Small skein but I made a 6 inch stuffy alien out of less than one skein on #4 hook. Works well. Charge under bright light and it glows for 15 minutes or so. Kind of pricy compared to my usual el cheapo Red Heart Super Saver yarn so I use it mostly for accents like spikes on the back of a baby kaiju. Softer than some glow in the dark yarn, but not as soft as medium weight polyester. Good balance of slippery and grippy.

Glows better than any other brand I have tried.
The white glow yarn lights up bright. Little bit of sunlight and you can see it glow in a room with a little light. Glows like crazy in total darkness. It is cotton so there's a little bit of splitting when crocheting with this. The yarn is a little bit stiff, cause of the glow in the dark chemicals in it, no smells. Made amigurmi toys, stars, snowflakes, and other little thing. The price is great here also.

Didn't Glow
I bought 2 of these and had to buy another. They are very small balls; this yarn is quite expensive. Anyway, grab 3 of them and you can knit a standard "one size fits all" glow in the dark hat. Just realize that you have to hang the hat somewhere or wear it during the day to charge it, or only part of it will glow. Also, this hat will not glow at all if there is too much light pollution. I tried wearing it to Walmart and it didn't glow at all. I was very disappointed. I don't have a way to test it in a rural area but it does glow in the house when I turn the lights off.

Does not glow as much as advertised

Very small
These are so small. The pictures are not even close to the size you will get. The yarn is bad as well.
