What a waste of money
I thought the unit was electric, but found out it's battery operated. I had 14 apples I wanted to peel to make apple sauce. I put in new batteries, but after the 4th apple had been peeled, I had to put in new batteries again. I was peeling the 9th apple when half way done, the peeler broke off on the top. It was not fixable and I ended up throwing it in the trash. The peeler is a piece of junk made in China

Worth it
I love how fast and easy it is to useI love that it’s electric and easy to cleanI don’t like that it leaves the top of the veggie unpeeled but peeling the top myself is a lot easier than peeling the whole thing myselfWith my arthritis so I still love it

I used it to peel potatoes the first time. Peels them very thin . I've only used it one time so far,but was pleased.
