Great product! My dryer didn’t work right for a week, I took and entire weekend to gut it. My husband found the problem with the heating element. We were able to easily locate the correct model on Amazon and arrived quickly! Saving us piles and piles of dirty laundry or trips to the laundromat with small kiddos in tow. Easily install, fit like a charm and works even better! My dryer hasn’t worked this well since it was brand new, the heat level is too notch! Saved us the pain of buying a new dryer!

== Original Review == My dryer's heating element went bad. The one in this kit was affordable. It curved out where the original was flat, so i used pliers to flatten the curve for it to slide in, and everything's been golden since. I've not had reason to use the other pieces in the kit, but my multimeter said they're good to go, and they match what I have installed. I have zero regrets for this purchase. == Update == I installed the heating element in late April, and it burnt out by mid-September, as shown by the picture. That's a little over 4 months of use. I still don't quite regret the purchase, but I think it's worth knowing that this particular heating element may not last long. I went with a different seller this time when replacing the part. == Solved the problem == I continued having trouble with my heating elements, no matter the seller. At some point, my husband and I learned that there was a vent on our roof that could get clogged in addition the dryer ductwork. We had been cleaning the ductwork, but didn't know about the vent. A terrifying roof climb and vent-cleaning later, we suddenly found things much better with our dryer and haven't had to replace the heating element since.

Fixed many made dryers saved money DIY

This looked great initially- I order in Sept, installed in late October and yesterday just outside the 3month return window it failed completely. When we took it out the coils had over heated, turned a greenish color and snapped off. I’d at least like my money back as I can’t be refunded for the labor install I already paid for. The orginal part lasted 9 years, this one barely lasted 3 months. Terrible quality, don’t waste your money on this. Will update with a photo.

NOTE in the images that this heating element comes with a few other parts - there is one part in that set that I also needed, and figured I would want to have... and I did need it! I could have picked this up for a few dollars less, but I saw that this one had those extra parts if needed. I had gone to YouTube and researched how to analyze the dryer, went through the procedures, and actually? Everything checked out - but if the unit (dryer) is not getting warm air? Something is not working. I stuck my hand up under where the heating element is, and it felt a little crunchy (like rust), and some rust fell down - why it checked out is that the wire was slightly touching where it wore out... so it was indeed the heating element - so we ordered this one. I installed it very easily, and made a video on YouTube about it... this is a simple repair, and it was very easy to run the steps of the analysis of the components. The part was working, as it should, and has been since the day I installed it (not all that long ago), but if it lasts more than six years? I will be very happy! The original "OEM" part was from 2018, so about six years old. Five Stars!
