This is the third time I've ordered from seeds needs. Its very hard to get lettuce to sprout in Ecuador where I live. Cuenca is cold most of the year but these seeds are harty and the Romain and butter crunch come up sweet and are very slow to bolt. I like that they Sacrifice some of their earnings to help others in need. I feel that this is a very honest company. You don't always find honesty on Amazon or any site on the internet for that matter.

Seeds arrived quickly and packaging was secure. I appreciated the photo of Parris Island Romaine on seed packet - nice reminder. But I appreciate more than anything that with every purchase, Seed Needs is helping others by "providing food, education, medical checkups and other essentials to the less fortunate." Our world needs this. I hope this company will make one more step to help more families grow vegetables at home - especially now. Just a planter or container on a balcony or anywhere outside makes it simple to grow many vegetables - including those children like - beans, potatoes, peas or quick-growers like leaf lettuce. Young ones are thrilled to see the seed they planted coming up from the soil and even happier to pick their 'crop' and eat it. Simple 101 gardening tips for kids and new 'farmers.' It's part of science and health plus always rewarding to pick your own food. And, with container plants, you don't have to weed! Thank you, Seed Needs for making this effort.

Doesn't happen often with seeds but 100 percent germination in this case! For those of us who garden know how important that first step is. Glad I gave them a try!

I am using these seeds for Fall growth. I cannot rate the growth percentage yet.

Nice quality. I've had a lot of success with these in hydroponics. They take to rockwool really well and sprout in less than a week. Nice tasting and crisp too. I've had other lettuce rush to seed but these provide a few solid weeks of production.

We started some seeds in clay pots before planting them in our garden. With the additional room, we planted more (middle rows). You can see from the comparison pictures 4 weeks apart it has grown substantially already! Cant wait to try them in a few more weeks.

I am growing lettuce in my balcony and wanted to continue my lettuce into the fall adding seeds every few weeks .... these seeds r great and potent... I am very pleased... they also arrived quickly! Thank u!

Delivery took some time to arrive due to USPS problems. I noticed the germination rate is almost 100%. I placed 2-3 seeds per pod and almost all seed sprouted. Good product.
