Tasty, different
I have a recipe for cold Thai noodles which calls foe green tea noodles. They worked well in the recipe and green tea is very healthful.

I bought this on a whim hoping I'd like it and did
Surprisingly tasty! I bought this on a whim hoping I'd like it and did. The noodles have green tea in it, but I didn't so much taste that as such, yet the buckwheat is delicious and the tea flavoring adds dimension over plain unflavored buckwheat noodles. I'd recommend this food product to anyone and the sauce I bought to go with it, OtaJoy Yakisoba Sauce. I'm sure adding traditional toppings would be great such as seaweed, but so would a small shrimps or other goodies like steamed quail eggs or sauteed scallions. So many choices, try them all! There are plenty of recipes online for this noodle, including on YouTube. There was one small unusual thing I noticed after receiving my package however, and that was the image on front of the bag. I opened the top to pull out a section of noodles and couldn't help noticing the unusual shaped leaves to the right center. My first thought was ... oh, those must be bamboo, but no... I don't think so! Look yourself and decide what they are. Kinda funny! Wonder if it was a mistake, a joke, or the graphic designer simply didn't know or notice the difference in plants. Either way, rest assured there are no unusual ingredients in this product, it's simply buckwheat and green tea, so buy and enjoy some. I think you might like it if you also enjoy other Asian style noodles.

This is my go-to SOBA
It's so delicious and easy to cook. 'Cha' means green tea here. It has a hint of green tea flavor, which is nice.In summer we eat cold, dipping in dash soup, in winter we eat hot (see picture). I don't remember how many times we keep ordering! I wish it was cheaper though.

Try them - you will like them
These noodles have a delicate green tea flavor that's delicious as is - in a simple umami broth or in any recipe that requires Japanese noodles. Great value at a good price.
