I dislike using disposables for parties but these plates were the perfect answer. They were study and looked quite lovely. The square shape and small size allowed for easy handling when juggling an hors dour plate and a drink in a party atmosphere of greeting people and snacking. And knowing they weren't plastic adding to our landfill overflow made not only me but my guests happy - more than a few wanted to know WHAT are these made from? and when told, thanked me for not using plastic. I ordered more just to have some on hand... great find!

We just used this plates for Thanksgiving. They look very pretty on the table. My family didn't even notice that they are biodegradable. There is no smell, no staining and no breaking or licking.Overall it was a very good buy, and I felt better knowing that they are not going to stay in the land fields for ever. I dont know why we don't have more products like this already on the shelves or the big store like Patty City ,etc.

I've bought these plates before and will continue to. They work very well at parties, with guests who are standing. The plates are strong enough to hold a satisfying amount of food without collapsing, and the square shape makes them easier to hold and to keep food from falling off. Superior to round plates, and to flimsier ones I've made the mistake of buying in the past.

These are light weight, pretty and sturdy. Used for outdoor cocktail hour and felt good about their biodegradability.
