Blue Avocado, Bag Rezip Original Small Black, 3 Count

I purchased these a long while ago and needed new ones. The ok’d ones had Blue Avocado labeled on them. These say “(re)zip” but so say that is a trademark of Blue Avocado. However, the trim on these new ones looks a lot cheaper and not as nice. Time will tell if they hold up as nicely as the others did...

Bought these to replace the MANY resealable sandwich bags my family uses for my kids' snacks. My daughter loves snacking on pretzels and goldfish crackers while we're out and about, but usually can't reseal them effectively - leading to spills on top of a bag that maybe will get 1 more use before it's thrown away.When they initially arrived I did note that they had a rather strong "plastic" smell, but after an initial rinse and some time to breathe, they don't have any strong smells anymore.These zippered bags are great for dry snacks, and I love that my kids can easily reclose them. Cleaning so far has been just a light wipe with a soapy sponge and a good rinse before drying. So far so good! I hope they will last a good long while so we can stop burning through baggies.

These bags are great. I send one or two every day with my son to school for his snack.Important tips:- handwash only- allow about a day and a half to full dry (I wash them in batches a couple of days before I need them)- don't use for soups, liquids, or juicy itemsThey are large enough so that I can pack apples or crackers and tuck a little rectangular individually wrapped cheese in, too.The only things I'd change would be the drying time and the leaky liquid factor. But I knew about these things when I bought them, so I've been very happy with them given how I use them!

I have so much less guilt packing my kids snacks in these bags instead of using a new plastic snack bag every day and creating all that waste. My kids tell me that every single day someone asks them why they are eating out of a pencil case, but I just laugh and think it's hilarious! It's helping them spread the word that we all need to create less trash! I'm glad my kids laugh it off too! The one thing I will say is that when you wash them you want to make sure you wash at least a day before because you have to make sure they are completely dry before you use.

Zipper broke on 1 of small bags within a month😞

I love these bags! I had my old set for 2 years and just bought my new set. They lasted 2 years with heavy use, so I'd say that's pretty good. They are dishwasher safe, but since there is a fabric edge they do take a little while to dry. I wash them inside out then leave them on the drying rack to dry. They hold a great portion size for snacks.

I love these and have had them for about a year now. I like how they are clear and have a zipper. I’ve used these for nuts, pretzels, grapes, cucumbers, eggs, and strawberries. Depending on how wet the food is and if the bag turned over in storage, the water can seep through the fabric near the zipper. I still use them but am just careful or use a paper towel with the food.

Have been using a few weeks. Handy for snacks to be stored for a day or two, which is why I got them - trying to reduce waste/cost of plastic baggies. For some things, like pretzels/crackers, they get a bit soft/stale stored in these more than a couple of days. Love how easy they are to wash/rinse/dry.
