I use it for breakfast biscuits. It cuts beautifully. I put it in the dishwasher and haven’t had any problems so far. I would buy it again.

Now I can make large biscuits.
I've been enjoying McDonald's breakfast sandwiches served on biscuits. I was surprised those biscuits are as large as a muffin. Since I can't get to McDonald's that often, I wondered how I could make my own. So I checked on Amazon under muffin cutters and found this. I just made my first batch of biscuits the other day and they turned out great. This cutter is very easy to use and enabled me to make a perfect breakfast sandwich! Very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect Size for My Perfect Biscuits
This 3.5" Biscuit Cutter is the perfect size for my perfect biscuits.Cream Biscuits Recipe★★★★★INGREDIENTS:2 cup self-rising flour1 Tbsp baking powder½ tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1 Tbsp sugar1½ cup cream +/-DESCRIPTION:Light, fluffy Winter Wheat is the secret to perfect biscuits; regular flour will only produce regular biscuits.DIRECTIONS:Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.Whisk together dry stuff in a large bowl.Slowly pour in whipping cream, stirring gently until just combined; may not need all the cream. Do not over mix.Pour biscuit dough onto a floured surface.Pat together into a rectangle. Fold rectangle into thirds. Turn dough a half turn, gather any crumbs, and flatten back into a rectangle. Repeat twice more, folding and pressing dough a total of three times.Gently pat or roll dough to ⅔-1" thick.Cut out biscuits using a 3+" biscuit cutter.Slightly press thumb into center of each biscuit, and brush tops with melted butter, milk, or cream.Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet; they do not need room left between them... best to let them touch each other; helps keep the sides soft.Bake in preheated 425°F oven for 8-12 minutes, until just starting to brown on top.

Don't disappoint your grandchild.
I make biscuits alot. I have never had a biscuit cutter. I have always used a glass or a plastic cookie cutter (which isn't tall enought). The last time I made biscuits they came out crooked and relatively flat. There was an indentation in the top where the dough smashed into the top of the cookie cutter. The sides stuck together and the biscuit didn't rise properly. I was teaching my granddaughter how to make biscuits and they came out puny. We were both disappointed.I made the decision to buy a tall, sharp biscuit cutter. I've learned that to get picture perfect meals you need to have the right equipment. The next time I make biscuits no one will be disappointed. This cutter goes cleanly through the dough. You can roll the dough to the proper thickness, because the high straight sides down't mash in. It's sharp and sturdy.I was actually hoping to get a 3" cutter, not realizing that my usual was 2 1/2" . I 'll see if the 3 1/2" end up being too, big, but I don't think thats possible where biscuits are concerned.

Perfect for cathead biscuits
I own a diner in Alabama where we make cat head size biscuits from scratch. These Cutters are perfect for the diameter and thickness of the doough we use. I cut my biscuits an inch thick and these have no problem with that. I could cut them 2 inches with these, with no problem. Also I don't have to flour these cutters because the dough doesn't want stick to them. Been using them for 3 months now and they still look brand new! Highly recommend! I wish they made them in squares

Perfect egg sandwiches!
I ordered this cutter for egg sandwiches for breakfast. The good:Creates a perfect circle shape for egg breakfast sandwiches. Easy to clean. Affordable price. The bad:Material is cheap, but this product wasn’t very expensive to begin with. The eggs stuck to the side of the cookie cutter, so I recommend buttering before hand if using this cutter for a different purpose.I haven’t used this for cookies, but would recommend this cutter for egg breakfast sandwiches - just make sure you oil the cutter first to prevent sticking!

Dough Cutter for Making Pierogis
Really would like a 4" instead of this 3.5". Metal is a little flimpsy and it bends a little too much. Price was great.

Shirley@sassybrat48 on the 3.5" round stainless steel cutter
This is just the perfect size if you really like biscuits because it makes jumbo ones and I like that. It is very sharp and cuts easily which stops the desire to twist to get the biscuits cut right through. Do Not twist the cutter because in doing so, you seal the edges of the biscuits which prevents them from rising as high as they will if you cut straight down and lift the cutter straight up. I love this cutter - hence the 5 stars. I would recommend this to family and friends.

3.5 steel cutter
I bought this and a 4.5 in one as well as I wasn't sure which size I needed to make Big Mac patties. Turns out it was the 4.5 one so now I have this for no reason but hey, it was a good price and I can always use it for large biscuits or smaller hamburger patties.
