My chest size is 42" do I need to allow for clothing or are sizes generous

I have dropped my chest size to 42, and now find L tends to give sufficient space underneath for base layers. M is likely to be a bit tight.

Is the jacket slim fit? I’m 6ft and fairly lean so would a medium be a good fit?

The XL fits my well padded figure but the arm length is very generous. I suspect that the medium would work if you were not too wide across the shoulders. Order both M & L and send one back!

I am 48" chest. What size do I need?

I would suggest XXL as my son is 43" chest and he is wearing XL comfortably.

Can jacket be put in dryer

Tumble dry on low heat is acceptable.
