I'm a hat guy and enjoy hats from Kangol, Stetson, Goorin among others. I do like quality hats but I wanted something to wear to work that I wouldn't be upset if it got dirty.I was leary to order the hat because of the reviews stating it ships in an envelope. Mine did not. It was sealed in a thick plastic bag inside an amazon prime box. It was not in a hat box but the box arrived in great condition. There was tape around the band and the feather was sealed in a separate bag. So everything was pristine and the hat was in perfect shape.This is a well made hat that looks like it will keep its shape. The felt is thick and looks nice. The band is well made and is thick so it will last. I bought an XL and it was just a little big. I used a couple of hat reducers and it fits like a glove. When you buy hats like these, I would always recommend buying hat sizers as well. My head is narrow so I always use them on the sides. This hat ran just a little bigger than I expected but again that's part of the hat game unless you have it made specifically for your head.I like this hat quite a bit. It's very comfortable. The inside hat band is soft. The hat is not light but doesn't feel heavy on your head. I get a lot of compliments when wearing it. Hats in the belfry seems like a solid hat company and I'll consider another from their selection soon. I'm happy with the overall purchase and would certainly buy it again.

I love soft crushable hats, and even better when I can find Sm. good craftsmanship. color and fit was good. the size was a 7" - 55.5,,,, was hoping for a tad tighter (55) quality of wool a 7 out of 10

I bought this as a Father’s Day gift as when I saw it, I knew it was ‘the one’. I had to downsize 3 x’s however so spending over 150$ to get the right one may be worth knowing for your search. Normally, he is a large/xl. But the right size ended up being medium. The hat itself is AWESOME. Well made, worth the money in my opinion, but could send in a box or something to make it even more value for the money. The ribbon and feather are PERFECT! Exactly what I was hoping for. He has gotten compliments galore every time he wears it. Which is now A LOT! I definitely would order again, keeping in mind the oversized running.

I have purchased several of these hats from Amazon. It's really hit or miss in what you receive. Some hats come in nothing but a plastic bag and therefore they arrive completely crushed and deformed requiring a lot of work restoring the shape. Other times the hats arrive inside a carboard box in perfect condition. I guess it depends on the packer. Also, sizes seem to vary greatly. One XL can be huge on me while another XL can fit me perfectly. Some of my hats are larges and other are extra larges even though they are the same hat from the same manufacturer. Weird. Also, the hat bands can be different than what you ordered. If you order a striped one you may get a solid color instead or vice versa. If you can land a good one, the hats can be very nice looking, good quality, and overall, a decent hat for the price. Good luck!

Bought this hat to wear for an "old hollywood" party - loved it! Great style, great fit! I have a huge head 7 5/8 and the 2XL fit perfectly. Would recommend.

I ordered the X large as matched on the size chart. Way too big. So I exchanged for a Large. And I'm pretty sure it's the same size just relabeled. I'd order 2 sizes smaller if I were you. It's a nice hat, if it fit right.

I am pretty impressed with this headwear!I have a larger head, and this hat came just a hair larger than my head, which is perfect, as it only took a minor amount of cushioning to make it fit absolutely perfectly.Very high quality material and construction. I put the front brim down and the rear up, and I'm rocking the Bogart look immediately.Having worn a high quality wide-brimmed Fedora like this when I was younger, I can say from experience that this is a really excellent brand! The attention to detail and description of the product was exactly what I was looking for!Be advised, this is NOT a trilby, but a true fedora. There is a difference, though it seems many younger folks don't realize it.This purchase makes me VERY confident in buying other styles of hats from the same brand, great product, truly!

head isn't as fat as I thought it was! This hat was about half a size to big. I have a hole in my haircut, and I get a chill if air conditioning blows down on me or there is a draft,. However, this hat, still keeps my head warm, and looks good. I have received many complements about "how good it looks on me".I am going to buy a couple more, a half size smaller, and in different colours.
