What can I say about this product well there's a reason that they're one of the best in the world because they put out great products they're solder is multiple at low or high temperatures withstands high temperatures and high currents and withstands the test of time not like some solders that as soon as you put it to your tip starts to burn off immediately not this stuff you can actually have it set on there and work with it and do multiple little sections of soldering before having to wick it off Great product can't say enough well worth its price

If you work on small electronics, circuit boards, etc., do not buy anything else. Nothing beats Kester solder and this is the perfect ratio. Great side for small through-hole and SMT components (resistors, transistors, logic chips, caps, etc.).

Works great, flows nicely

As an electronic enthusiast I am glad this is still being made at such a great value, and the fact that it is made in the USA is also a huge plus. This solder works great and the flux that is in it is also super easy to clean up. Shipping was also super fast.

Does as it should do. It flows really well during soldering and the coil will last you a lifetime if you solder occasionally.

In my experience, every factory solder joint, and every bit of solder that comes with new soldering guns, even a spool or two I bought online, pales in comparison to this brand solder. Those others are so difficult once the solder is placed, in that they usually take a bigger amount of heat than what they first required and it makes it difficult for a person like me who likes to suck up solder to repurpose my circuit boards. This brand is really quality and well for all applicable use in my opinion.

I WAS reordering leaded .8mm at 100grams per roll. Finally paid attention to the Kester seemingly expensive solder, but doing the math for a 1 pound roll, it works out well! It DOES still shine when cooled, which is a huge contrast to the cloudy look of the "cheap stuff". that happens to make it easier to check the work under magnification. MOST importantly, this solder flows MUCH better than the off name brand. I thought the ugly work was my iron or tip, but turned out to be the weird named solder! I definitely recommend upgrading to Kester if you have been use to the light rolls of Chinese off brands. I got another roll of .5mm wire for SMD work and am much more confident working the micro stuff now
