Great pants!
Absolutely amazing pants. I would favorably compare to Fjallraven, Arkteryx, Patagonia etc but at much more reasonable price. Fit, stitching and overall construction are top-notch and they seem to be "wearing" very well; durable. I have put one coat of OtterWax on the canvas sections and the fabric took the wax well, barely noticeable. I actually like a "weathered" waxed-canvas look (and want to maximize waterproof) so am going to apply at least one more coat of wax, if not 2. Anyhow, these are absolutely superb trousers. Quite breathable and stretchy, very comfortable and maneuverable. I would say the fabric is a tad bit on the "noisey" side for hunting or tactical needs, perhaps; but I have simply loved the heck out of these pants on a couple "cool temp" camping trips so far, many hikes and daily wear. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Excellent for motorcycle cruising or Upland hunting
Quick summery: I usually wear 36/30, but bought the 36/32 & it’s perfect for motorcycle riding because the cuffs don’t ride up. Adjustable Velcro closure allows for custom fit around the waist. The little bit of stretch of the fabric helps to feel comfortable on long motorcycle rides: I originally purchased these for hunting but quickly realized that they are excellent pants for cruising around on my motorcycle. I have a few pair now, and hope to get a couple more because, it seems like every time I buy something that’s great, it ends up being discontinued. I wore them all summer while riding without ever getting hot. For me, they seem to be comfortable down to about 60°. Obviously that’s going to depend on your personal preference for warmth. Now that it’s fall, I wear them with Axial (wind) Block pants underneath. For upland hunting, you probably will not need a base layer if fall in your area has mild weather (50-60 degrees) . Again, it’s going to be your personal preference. As far as fit is concerned, I weigh 205 at a little less than 5‘9“ and where Levi jeans in a size 36/30. I can only find size 36 in a 32 length, even on The company’s website. 32 length is fine when riding because the Cuffs don’t ride up. The fabric stretch makes them really comfortable when squatting down or sitting. All in all I recommend these pants 100%.

Good Product
Well constructed, good features. A bit pricy, but they are what I consider a specialty item. I'm 6', 165 lbs, on the thin side and these fit me very well (32x36) except the length was to long for me. I purchased other Helikon pants in the same length and they fit perfectly. I like that Helikon pants are not long in the crotch. Some manufacturers think long inseams need long crotch lengths...no so. The elastic waist section across the rear of the pants allows for a some range in the waist size. I'm not a fan of elastic in the waistband, but on these, I liked this feature. The material is lighter weight than I expected, but I think that's a positive. Thermals underneath in the winter would make these 4-season pants (in the South).

Great pants. Long lasting. Durable.
One of the best pair of outdoor spring/summer pants I have purchased. They are light. They are breathable. I have had them for multiple years of hard use with no tears. I am asked all the time about the pants. I would a soluteoy recommend these.

Amazing pants that gather attention
I’m a huge fan of these pants, they’re my go-to pants for my job in residential construction. Clients always ask me about them so they certainly gather attention but in a positive way. Usually when people ask I mention how they’re a great alternative to cargo pants as they are just as functional while retaining a tailored fit that looks professional. The black fabric is similar to a durable elastic while the colored fabric is a canvas-like material that does an amazing job at wicking water. Now that the weather is getting below freezing I have found that these pants accommodate a thermal base layer very well and keep me totally comfortable while working 10+ hours in below freezing conditions. I highly recommend these pants over similar types as the fit and function is outstanding for the price.

They fit a bit long
Outstanding pants. I wore them two days this weekend in the woods. I really put them through some paces. They are comfortable, cool, stretch in all the right places, have well-thought-out pocket placement, and took a fair amount of abuse for a first outing. I wear 30W32L Levi's Blue Jeans and those are a tiny bit long because I wear boots. I ordered the same size for these pants and unless they shrink when i wash them, 30W30L would have been spot on. If these hold up over the summer, I'll definitely order another pair in the fall and I'll order 30W30L this time. If they start falling apart or anything, I will update this review. My Crye Precision pants came in this weekend so I'll be trying them out next weekend. It will be interesting to see how they compare.

Super comfortable, but could be double stitched.
These pants are super comfortable, featuring useful pockets, slots for Crye/First Lite/5.11 knee pad inserts (you can also make your own knee pads), and adustable ankles with velcro. These pants are breathable/stetchy where they need to be and tough where they ought to be. This is my second pair in the last 5 years. I've put holes in them and enjoyed the pants so much that I opted to repair them instead. It's a lot of money to spend, but they are worth it overall, just don't expect Carhartt durability.

Great hiking pants.
I’m quite rough on my gear. After having torn up a pair of wranglers in a single trip I was looking for something more durable. These fit the bill. They are comfortable, breathable, and durable. I still haven’t tested out how quick they dry on trail, but I will be this December with 2 river crossings on my planned trail. So far I would buy them again.

- in den Kniekehlen verarbeitet, also hinten.

Deshalb 4 Sterne
