T.M.N.T. Leonardo's Kitana Costume Accessory

Great for dress-up/playing ninja with your friends/dad/little sister. Fits perfectly in the wearable TMNT shell. Isn't terribly painful on the receiving end when you get attacked with it. Overall - a good toy for your TMNT-loving child. Seems to be well-made - has held up for at least 6 months with vigorous, rough use.

It’s a typical plastic sword. My son loves it but it wasn’t worth 20 bucks

I was very disappointed in this item. The "metal" portion is painted grey over plastic. The company who mailed it inadvertently put tape over the end to keep the bubble wrap in place put. That taped pulled off the paint, also every time he hits something with it the paint chips away. It is sturdy but the plastic should be grey not painted. It's a sword and kids are going hit and chop on everything in sight. Durability is important.

If your child is anything like mine, you will need to reinforce these with dowel rods on the inside (which is really easy to do). Once you do that, these are the perfect toys to help your child pretend with confidence!

I didn't pay much for this Katana and I can tell why. The plastic was really soft and it bent pretty badly after a few hard smacks against my sofa. My son is 4 and certain he will be a ninja some day. This sword didn't last long after Christmas. The package it came in wasn't very secure either so I'm not sure how much of a beating it took on its way to my house.

Omg my son loves this toy he plays with it everyday thank you so much.

My six year old got this for Christmas and he loves it. He and his 3 brothers have put it through the mill and it's stood up really well- with only one dent to show for it all.It is a little smaller than I expected, but still a better size than the one that comes in a set with other TMNT costume pieces. Overall, a good buy.

my son absolutely loves this sword he carries it almost everywhere. he bent the sword when trying to put it in front of his back pack so i recommend handling it with ease. its a soft plastic so it wont do much harm.
