Works fine for support role
Heh! These little beauties are perfect for doing bare-bone laptop deployment in the local private school I do IT support for. Put them in, deploy the image of 8.1 Pro, check the drives and she's good. Low cost and the right capacity for our needs, too. It is getting harder and harder to find these low-capacity drives new. I have been pushing SSD migration for that reason, but until then, these are a stocking spare in the IT department.

Very Satisfied.
I bought this to use in my 12gb PS3 slim and it works great. It was instantly recognized by the PS3 and there were no installation issues.I will update this review if anything changes, but so far so good.

Good item
Great item for the price. I am using it as an external hard drive to store data. This will be my music collection. 80GB is plenty to store my music collection on. Frees up my internal storage drive and my 1TB drive I use for files. I will be moving my music collection to it and that will free up my current storage drive for just files and backing up my computer.

So out of date they are not usable. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a cheap ssd.
Really bad. I received 3 out of my 4 drives that I ordered today and all three of them are unusable slow. I installed them all into my computers and there is not any updated drivers for them, as a result the hard drives spin up and I get some read or write speed and they immediately power back down and repeat the cycle untill the program opens or file launches. I bought these for a miner, i do not need alot of storage nor alot of speed but these will not do at all. It took me 20 minutes to get google chrome installed and sometimes the mouse just completely freezes. Copying files the speed zooms up to a normal read write speed, than dives straight down to 0 again than it goes through the process again. Loading windows takes about 10 minutes. There is outdated stuff, than there is outdated to the point they havn't released drivers that will run with windows 10. I will be sending these back and hopefully you guys will throw them away (or put them in the garbage) because that is where they go..-Masta

Quiet and fast
Very quiet and fast, Works as if it's not even there. I definately recommend for anyone who needs a HDD. Also would recommend a 2.5" PS3 caddy if you dont already have one, Most 12GB PS3 models do not come shipped with one.
