The Curious Case of Benjamin Button [DVD]

Great film recommended by a friend and glad I watched it

One of my favorite movies. Brad Pitt is excellent as the main character, as are the rest of the cast, the screenplay and direction too...... Love it!

Great film

It’s a long movie covering a great span of time. I loved the performances from a great cast. I was moved by the story, and found that music from the movie often plays back in my head. “Some people…” watch movies, and this is one they should watch.

The concept explored in this film is very interesting and the writing and acting is astonishing in my opinion. I do not think this is everybody's cup of tea as there are quite a few fillers I noticed in the film and the pace is overall slow. I watched the film in two sittings. I think the direction of the film was not the best of David Fincher but it is good none the less. If you enjoy slow paced movies with fascinating story lines, this is for you.

Really beautiful and was truly a treat to watch.

This is a very poignant film with sad bits. I am usually a sci-fi-, adventure-, action-type film buff but this is a very good film. It doesn't dwell long on any part of BB's life and his experiences and it works well in that respect. None of the principal players need to act much but that is not a criticism as the storyline is what actually keep you watching, wanting to know how the whole act will play out. F Scott Fitzgerald's story (which I haven't read) must have been a flash of inspiration and this film has taken that premise and produced a film that is spot on. My only grumble would be the deathbed acting of Cate Blanchett as her dialogue is very mumbling and difficult to pick up sometimes.
