WATCHAREE'S Pad Thai Sauce | Vegan & Non-GMO | Authentic Traditional Thai Recipe

Great Pad Thai has SO MANY ingredients and the sauce is the secret. I've made my own Pad Thai sauce but this sauce is quicker and pretty tasty. You can make at least 3-4 generous portions with 1 jar. This sauce has the right amount of sweet, salty & tart & balance. It is pricey but a HUGE time saver if you love making Pad Thai at home and adding your own fresh ingredients.

Ultimately, I feel like this sauce has conquered a daunting task. It's gluten free, dairy free, soy free, and probably a few other types that I couldn't remember. Making a sauce that tastes good, has a good texture and covers a good amount of noodles with those restrictions is not easy. The Pad Thai sauce does differ in some of it's flavors. There is more of a tangy taste from the vinager, which is different but not unpleasant. I add minced ginger, rice vinegar, and a tablespoon of sugar or honey to mine. The Peanut Sauce from the same brand tastes very similar to an original peanut sauce. I wish the price was $5.99 vs. $7.99 at Whole Foods because I would get it more than once a month.

My children like the sweetness and I like the spiciness. this is one of the better ones on the market, and no gluten and vegan is a plus. Also a nice recipe for spring rolls here. But I wish the food company would not use unhealthy sunflower oil. The ingredients listed here show canola oil, which is even worse (all canola oil is gmo so I don’t see how they can say it’s non gmo). The ingredients on my bottle list sunflower oil which is also not healthy. If they would swap for avocado or coconut oil it would make it the perfect pad Thai sauce

Was able to order this one time at a decent price, when I went back to get more they were double the price — No way!We love this sauce, a family favorite! But it must be reasonable value, that was absurdity 🤪

Good to throw on noodles with a veggie stir fry on top - which it was a little thicker but overall very tasty. The sauce has a kick so if you don't like heat - this is not for you.

This is by far the most authentic pad Thai sauce flavor that we have found premade. It tastes really great and we have been buying it for a while. BUT!! This past year when we bought it we noticed crunchy bits in the sauce. I assumed it might be the added sugar so when we bought it again I heated it thinking if it was sugar it might have to melt down a little. WRONG!! I ended up wasting another batch of this sauce. It was an unpleasant crunch every bite and I ended up tossing out another batch of Pad Thai.I reached out the manufacturer by email and asked about this hoping to understand what is going on but they never responded. I like to support small businesses but when they cannot be bothered to respond to a customer that is not a good business.

I've been to Thailand a number of times and this sauce was tasty yet didn't add an authentic taste to my pad thai cooking. I've now discovered Andy Ricker's Pok Pok cookbook and his pad thai sauce recipe nails the authentic flavor I have been looking to re-create.

Have food allergies and lookin to save money on ordering out. This a great option. I used some fresh stir fry veggies and sesame garlic tofu with this and let it simmer and some rice noodles this made a great meal. Some people may say is a bit sweet. I added some salt and chili oil,fresh garlic and cilantro while this simmered and I felt like it evened it out Tonight I am on my second bowl.
