very precise cuts.
Like the fact that it is cordless and works as described. very smooth operation, easy to adjust and great power. A little noisy on the gear housing and hope that this doesn't become an issue. Very quite overall compared to corded tools. Wish that it came in a systainer. Very happy with this purchase

Easy to use cordless jointer
This is a really easy tool to use. Fits well in my hand. Allows ease of application to material you are working on. Depth / angle setting is easy to decipher and calculate. I like that this is portable, cordless tool. Works with my star energy batteries 5.0 series. Need to order a case and make ready for transport. But will easily fit into any medium or large tool bag. Makita also sells this tool as a kit with batteries. Shipped fast, no damage. Liked that i was able to pay for the tool with monthly billing plan, thanks amazon. This tool will be put to good use in the shop or at home.

Great Tool!
The brand Makita says it all! Love this tool. Used it the first day it arrived and I wasn’t disappointed. I have purchased over 20 Makita tools over the last 15 years and haven’t had one fail yet. I don’t see my new biscuit cutter being any different. Easy to use, slides easy, accurate cuts and built to last. Highly recommend this quality tool.

Very easy to use!
Works great! It’s easy to use, easy and precise adjustments, it has built in depths for most common biscuits sizes, I liked it! Definitely recommended!

Makes glue up alignment a breeze.
I've always hated struggling with alignment when gluing up boards. So I bought this to see if it would help. And in honesty this thing is amazing. Made for perfect alignment on the first try. Very satisfied so far.My only issue is the handle is too short in my opinion. My hand sometimes runs into the posts during the plunge.

Great in a lot of ways but
I bought this along with some PVC biscuits to use on exterior trim and miters on decks. I have an old corded porter cable that has treated me very well, but it's lacking. There wasn't any dust control, so this bag is an upgrade. The height adjustment on my PC requires an Allen wrench and a combination square. Now I almost never have to change it, but the rack and pinion system is absolutely amazing. The makita also has some rubber bumpers to hold to the material which are really nice. The only thing I don't love is the handle and the power on/off. I have normal size 6' man hands and the ergonomics could be improved. The top handle is pretty superficial, I'll be taking it off. My PC has a handle type grip and a trigger and it's just easier to push. With that said, this makita will most likely be hanging off my belt time to time, so the straight grip design will probably be less bulky in that case, but I'd still prefer more of a handle and trigger to the barrel grip and on switch. If makita comes out with an 18v brushless model with a trigger and handle I'd pay another hundred for it. All in all, I'm very happy with this.

Makes daily joinery so easy
This joiner has saved me so much time & headache ha, I just pop a battery in cut cut , done. No chords, no asking someone for the companys' or having to reset it up because 4 other people are using it as well ha. Even at home it's made woodworking much easier

Makita's sweet spot is handheld shop tools
Works great just like all of my Makita handheld tools. This is where they need to focus and not on lawn mowers, trimmers and other large products that suck in quality (see my review of their electric mower). This product is not as ergonomic as I would like but it's accurate and actually collects 90% of the dust/chips without vacuum suction. Recommend.
