Absolute junk!
Absolute junk! Bought this a year ago for a 3 day trip through western Colorado and eastern Utah back roads. Worked great the one time I used it. Seemed to have decent water pressure. Easy to set up and use. Stored it away for a year, didn't need to use it during the winter months in Colorado. Went on a camping trip, plugged it in the 12V outlet and put the pump in my 7 gallon aquatainer hit the power button and nothing. I began trying to diagnosis the issue. I unscrewed the two small philips head screws in the pump unit and pulled the motor out. The entire motor was completely rusted out and the motor was seized. The motor is not properly sealed on these units. The entire motor is submerged and is not protected from water which is scary because this could cause a fire or electrocution. Very poor design!

A touch of opulence in an otherwise pedestrian world.
Very cool addition to your camp kit if you camp from your car. Worked exactly as described and trust me, you bust out this puppy and announce you have brought a means to shower and the forest honeys will come a running. Had good solid flow, felt like a real shower. Much much better than the anemic dribble produced by gravity fed sun-showers and way simpler to set up since you don't need to suspend 50lbs of water 7ft in the air. Worked perfectly hung from the open rear hatch of the SUV. We filled a 5 gallon bucket with water and let it sit in the sun all day and by the time we were back to camp that evening there was plenty of warm water for 3 or 4 people to shower off. Could probably extend that to 6 or 8 if you were willing to double up. AMIRITE?!Only tip I can offer is when you get started you have to hold the pump under water and let it run for a moment to keep it from floating on the surface. Once the pump has filled itself with water it sinks and works perfectly.

Just get one. You will be glad you did.
A determined that if I ever camped again, it would be with the prospect of taking hot showers. The site that I chose for my trip had running water and porta potties but no showers at all. So, I decided to bring my own hot shower along. After looking at a number of other portable shower pumps, I settled on this for my four day camping trip. I had already bought a shower cabana from Walmart just prior, and had also brought along some plastic cable ties to rig the shower wand and a 4 gallon plastic reservior (a yellow cat litter pail that has a carry handle) to put the pump in. I had set up the cable so the on-off switch was located around waist height and the power cable led out to my battery box on a table just outside the cabana. I also had my Coleman stove on that table with its 8 cup percolator. I would heat about a quart of water to boiling and would pour it into the reservior which already had about 2-1/2 gallons of water in it at roughly 65 degree temperature. The combo gave just enough warmth for a comfortable (but not hot) shower of a 2 minute duration or so. This was plenty of time to switch on the pump, get wet all over, switch off, lather and shampoo, and then switch on again for an extended rinse. I still had a little pump water left, so the pump would not run dry. I estimate with the pump in the pail on the ground and the shower fully extended overhead, the pump would deliver about one gallon per minute, which is absolutely fine. It was not a forceful shower, but it was a generous enough spray that it was easy to get rinsed off. The only thing I wish is that the hose was a full 2 meters instead of 1.8. I am about 5'8" and the shower wand was fixed overhead about 3-4 inches. If the hose had been longer by another 4-6 inches, I would have had a bit more headroom, and a taller person would probably have to duck. The other option would be to put the pail on a low stool or something else waterproof. This is really a minor issue, but a few more inches of tubing would have been helpful. Also the electrical cable could have been a little more extended. I had to put the battery just outside the door. If you are using your car lighter to power this unit, you would probably need an extension cable to make it work. Again, adding 3-4 feet on the switch end of the cable would have helped. If the unit had done either of these things I would have given it 5 stars. Finally, they only give you one o-ring for the wand connection to the hose, and they tell you to remove it when the wand is in storage. Personally, I would take the o-ring to the plumbing aisle at your favorite box house home improvement store for a few spares, because these little o-rings just beg to get lost. It would have been easy to include a couple of spares in the kit, but nope. It's those little things that would have turned this into a 5 star for me, but I give it a solid 4, as it works well enough and is very adequate for my needs. For those of you who are on the fence as to whether having hot showers while camping is worth the effort and expense, I will just say that now that I have had the experience of my own shower cabana, which sets up in minutes, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I am nearly 65 and thought my camping days were behind me. Nope. Having this shower and a proper cot and pad turned the dread of camping into a real joy.

I am well pleased with the on/off switch at arms length for easy ...
Unpacked it and set it up as a part of a shower system I made at home, (5 gallon bucket with 1" PVC tubing). It worked well on test run and emptied a 5 gallon bucket of water in 3 minutes flat. That's plenty of time for a suds and rinse, might even be enough for two showers using the off switch for water savings between soaping up and the rinse. I looked at many other shower pumps before I choose to buy the Suaoki. I am well pleased with the on/off switch at arms length for easy on/off. The power cord is ample enough although I purchased a 12' extension just in case. The length of the shower hose is also a good size for a walk under shower without bending down. This product makes a wonderful addition to my camping gear. :-)UPDATE; Had the water rusting Motor problem on 3rd use. UPDATE:I AM GREATLY PLEASED as the Eco Suaoki Service Team worked with me to replace problem with unit saving me from exploring other shower options. The shower system I made is back on track and the wife loves it. Out doors here we come!Nice system good people!P.s. If you decide to build the bucket system shown, be sure to cut sections small enough to fit in bucket as you will then have everything in one place and a carry case too.James

Works as expected: a winner
Just received the item and ran a quick test: plugged into 12vdc accessory outlet, engine not running (so with less than potentially higher voltage available) and this pump did exactly what I had hoped in terms of water volume. Mind you, it's not going to put out any forest fires, but for a refreshing shower from a 5-gallon drywall bucket, this will do the trick. I plan to use this portable shower to wash my velociraptor down at the ranch in Bosta Rica, and if that is successful I will post an update.

Good emergency shower.
I purchased this in case of power failure. . . I could heat water in a 5 gallon bucket and step into the shower and wash. Pump is surprisingly hefty and delivers a good stream of water. With 5 gallons of warm water you have enough to get a good shower and come out clean. This definitely goes in the emergency kit along with the liquid siphons for drinking water and gasoline. I read the reviews about this one before purchase and I had no trouble with leakage so I was pleased.
