Nice...pretty durable
I used this as a prop in a Star Wars movie that we made at a Star Wars themed birthday party. Worked great. Only drawback would be that the handle is very much 'adult/authentic' sized while the saber part is a little short. Wasn't really a big deal for us though. It was durable enough to hold us during our 'fight scene'.

Love this
There is a star war battle going on in my planet and my Jedi master Luke Skywalker needed this light saber badly so he can fight with Darth Vader to safe our galaxy. Force was with him in this battle and this light saber survived the abuse in battle. When I ordered, I knew it t doesn't light up or sound but my Jedi master did not care. It comes out when you swing in the air. It does have some issue in retracting all the way back. I found this issue with the blue and red light saber also which I ordered along with this green light saber to complete the set.

Fun for lightsaber fights with my kid
My son already owns a Darth Vader lightsaber, Hasbro B2922 Stars Wars A New Hope Darth Vader Electronic Lightsaber(Discontinued by manufacturer) , which has sound (but does not retract all the way). Since we wanted to have lightsaber fights, as well as be able to make a double-blade saber, we decided to get this Luke Skywalker one. The saber is made of plastic, and can retract all the way. It does not have sound, and it also does not come with the piece to link it to other lightsabers (so if you buy two of this, you will not be able to link them). To extend the lightsaber, you just need to make the motion downwards with some strength, and the whole saber will pop out. We have had a few fights and it is really fun, although I do not think the sabers will survive more than a year if we keep using them like this.

Good for a Prop, and holds up in combat!
I believe that this is a good item for costumes or a movie prop. It holds up very well in combat but if you are looking for something more advanced with lights and sounds, this is not for you. Overall, it is a nice item and a valuable addition to my collection.

Do not waste your money!
Does not work well. My 2 boys, age 4 and 9, love to play with toys and they rarely break anything. This toy lasted one day. The toy is supposed to collapse and then be able to open fully. The problem is that the toy needs to be pushed on the ground in order to collapse. The boys pushed too hard and then the toy bent ever so slightly and will not fully collapse. TOO BAD. The boys loved playing with it while it worked.

Not great quality
We ordered another light saber from another company and this one feels like it could fall apart any minute. Thankfully it hasn’t yet. But when the saber is open all the way it sort of shakes around a bit in the handle. My daughter still uses it, but I’m nervous at how long it will last.

Durable and well loved
My little brother plays with it every single day and loves it! He's 6 and unfortunately drops it all the time yet it still hasn't broken which is fantastic. Just a warning, it doesn't light up but it does extend and un-extend so thats really helpful.

great price for a costumes
It does not light up, but that is completely fine. It works great with costume. Since it does not light up, the pictures come out great; no glares, streaks or ect.

I found this product great for what I wanted it for. If your a kid who wants a cheap plastic extendable lightsaber for some duels with your friends then this is for you. Its pretty sturdy and should be ok in some basic duelling (don’t smash it as hard as you can) On thing to note, this product cost £12 quid so obviously it doesn’t have lights or sound. A lot of people have given this item a bad review because it doesn’t light up but it never said it was light up and for £12 quid it’s pretty obvious it’s not going to
