There was a time when I wouldn't buy cheap tools (read: throw-away). Thankfully, that time is over. These are something that I have needed for a very long time, but didn't want to pay for quality, nor did I want crappy tools - so I did without. My, my - how times have changed. These work perfectly and significantly raise my skill level. When you need one of these, there is no way of getting around it - you need one. So just buy it and be done with it!

Appear to be quality made pliers. hey are heavyish and larger than I thought, but will be a nice addition to my tool collection. I am basically a weekend mechanic and like to do many maintenace items myself.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this set. I do wish they had the spring handle but that is what it is. As always, the reviews were back and forth but for the price and I had the need it was worth a shot. This is actually my first "Amazon basic" product and this purchase has led me to take a closer look at these labeled Amazon basic items. I am feeling amazon spends a lot of time money and effort to find the best value on these products. Not the best quality yet not the worst. Not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. This works for me on 99% of my purchases. I spend a lot of time researching products before I buy. Moving forward I am first looking at these products. In particular Amazon basic. I am super happy with these. I work in construction and fix absolutely everything at my home by myself. From my cars to my gas furnace so I have tools and I know tools. If i overspend it does not pay to do the diy thing yet if i go cheap and break a tool in the middle of a project that is very bad. These are decent tools at a great price. If that is what you are looking for you found it. If you want high quality tools these are not it. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pliers work well in small places .

Awesome pliers. I used one of them with long lips to replace the radiator on my 2007 Honda Pilot, which has hose clamps. I was struggling to remove those dreaded hose clamps quickly and easily, but with one of these needle-nose pliers, it was effortless. It made the job easier and enjoyable.

The quality of these tools is higher than I expected. The jaws meet squarely. Actually a pretty good bargain for a pretty decent set of tools.

WOW ! This set of extra long needle nose pliers are possibly the BEST design and constructed, most easy to handle pliers I'm ever going to use. Talk about grabbing and reaching with the comfortable grip ! ! !
