The Sharpie S-Gel Gel Pens are an amazing product that delivers an exceptional writing experience. The $0.7 \text{mm}$ medium point is perfect, and the black gel ink is incredibly smooth, vibrant, and, most importantly, non-smearing and quick-drying. This makes them perfect for fast note-takers, journaling, and professional use. The comfortable grip and sleek black barrel make them a pleasure to use for school, home, or office tasks.

The SharpievS-Gel Pens, Perm with the Black Barrel in a medium point are one of my favorite pens to use daily. I use for writing checks because it writes great and is Permanent and does not smear. I use them when I complete word searches, logic puzzles, and other varieties of puzzles. When I loan out my pen I have to remind them to return them cause it becomes the favored pens of strangers. The pen is the ultimate weight. The ink is black, and is dark like the Mont Blsnc ink. These pens are about a $1 each when on sale. I used to only use my Mont Blanc pens at over $600 each, but recently I have transitioned to Sharpie cause they are perfect, and at a 1 each I don't get as upset as when a Monte Blanc pen is walked away with. I always have a few dozen on standby. The size of the pen and the weight is ideal. They are durable. The ink lasts. Keep them coming

Good pens for around the house. We keep pens everywhere (lots of them in the kitchen-great room area) and these are smooth writing. Nice pens for the price.

Some of the best pens! The ink comes out very smooth and dark! They are super comfortable to write with no smudges or smearing. I like the click pen a lot because I don't have to worry about loosing a cap. I can write quickly with these with no issue.

These are the best pen. My husband loves them. They are smooth and glide so nicely on paper. I love the feel of the pen and they last a good while.

In summary, the Sharpie S-Gel pen has high quality, quick drying, non-smudging ink, while the Pilot G2 has thicker/wetter ink that smudges more easily. BUT the G2 is much more comfortable to write with due to its thicker tip area and glossy plastic shell, which makes it easier to grip on to than the slippery S-Gel. In comparison, the S-Gel’s matte finish can be slippery, and its pen tip is thinner and coated with the same slippery finish. I often found myself having to reposition my grip with the S-gel, and it became uncomfortable when my ring fingernail began digging into my index finger. Both are fine smudge-wise if you give them enough time to dry, but the G2’s smudge-ability can be frustrating when writing quickly or accidentally leaving your hand on fresh writing. In conclusion, my discomfort using the S-Gel was enough for me to look past the smudging problem and favor the G2 more. In the end, your choice depends on your personal preferences. If you have smaller hands/fingers, writing with the Sharpie shouldn’t be a major problem. The ink is smooth and easy to write with and does not smudge easily. If you write a lot and don’t mind accidental smudges at the expense of comfort, then the G2 is for you.

I compared the sharpie S-Gel against the Pilot G2, the Uniball 207 plus, and the Zebra G-450. Out of the four, the Sharpie is much better than the Uniball, writes somewhat thicker than the Pilot G-2 (which is also a great pen), and is really close to the Zebra G-450. However, it writes somewhat smoother than the Zebra G-450, so it out performs that brand slightly. Out of the four pens, the Sharpie S-Gel is the best with the Zebra and Pilot coming in at a close second place place.

I do not know how I lived without these pens. As someone who journals & writes lots daily, these are heaven for me. I have not found a single other pen that is more smooth, sleek, comfortable to hold, and long lasting. Granted, I do a lot of writing, so one pen for me lasts about a month, maybe two (which is why I repurchase so often, not complaining though!). The ink flows BUTTERY SMOOTH, dries quick for minimal smudging, crisp black lines, comfortable grip, great quality nib and clicker. Literally nothing more you could ask for. These Gel pens are incredible. I don't think I'll ever use another pen so long as I live.
