Do I like this flavor? God, no! Do I have to savor everything that goes into my mouth? Goodness, no!I am using this in lieu of physician recommended statins, but using it with Red Yeast Rice extract.After some research, and after two bottles of 1200mg Berberine capsules, I wanted the highest quality source of Berberine, which comes from (based on reading) the TCM herb, Huang Lian, aka Goldthread.3 grams of this dry herb in a concoction is usually all that is used, with normally 8+ other herbs. Even with neutralizing herbs in the mix, this flavor always comes through, in a dominant way, so taking it in a small quantity of water or tea and washing it down with just water or just tea does it for me.I bought two bottles and am going to give this a try. Turns out that Goldenseal has the absolute highest quantity of Berberine, but Goldenthread might just have the highest quality of Berberine. Goldenseal has roughly 1/3 more Berberine, but having studied TCM, I feel like this is the correct source for me, plus it comes from Hawaii, considered by some to be the chakra system on the body we call earth, home.

Although slightly more expensive than Aloe for treating diverticulosis, the results were dramatically faster, and far more palatable. Great product!

The seal was broken, it smelled horrible, and I had to return it. The alcohol-free version of this brand/from this company works pretty well, though.

Pleased with the quality of the tincture! Smells and tastes fresh and potent. Works well.
