Cute as a bug! My husband specified that he wanted a "haunted door knocker"; I ordered this hoping it'd fit the bill, then lamented that I no longer wanted it on our front door, just in case some sneaky kid wants to steal it for himself! I guess we'll have to affix it using tough Command strips instead of a regular hanging hook.I love the fake burnished-brass "eyelids" opening to reveal the glowing-green eyeball, which peers around devilishly. Nicely designed, and seemingly quite sturdy; I love the "cartoonishly" gothic look of it! It's very "Haunted Mansion," and so striking in person. Funny, spooky, and sweet, just the way Halloween intended.

It feels like cheap plastic, but for the price this works REALLY WELL! OMG we scared SO many trick-or-treaters with it and got a TON of compliments and giggles from parents and older kids! Honestly I may just leave this up year round so delivery people can keep dying of laughter 😂 it's also loud enough that we can hear it from anywhere in the house, so definitely a win!

Loved the animatronic eye and that there was a different saying each time the PUSH button was pressed.Do not use it in place of the doorbell. It can be heard in the presence of whoever pushes the button, but if you are not next to your door you'll never hear it from another room (especially if the tv is on). Kids thought it was COOL!

This doorbell is so Awesome! Grandkids all wanted one after using mine so I bought each household one. I keep mine up Mid Sept through Halloween. The eye lights up and says, I believe, 7 different spooky "Welcomes" to all who dare press the door bell!

I ordered this item-first one came in just a plastic sleeve-the eyeball worked but no sound. I changed the batteries still no sound. I sent it back and had them send me a new one-it just arrived with same issue. Eye ball works but no sounds. I give up. Dont they check these before shipping? Could be the plastic sleeve it is sent in offers no protection from getting bumped around-anyway-I am returning this one as well.
