I'm not a mechanic. But, when the idiot lights popped up on my dashboard saying there was something wrong with my gas cap, I did some Googling and found the failure was much more likely to be the ESIM. A YouTube video taught me how to fix it, and I bought this part on Amazon. It fit perfectly and is clearly working because, after a short drive, the lights cleared. I am very happy to have saved a bunch of money by doing it myself instead of taking it to a shop.

I had the gas cap and check engine light come on in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. My code reader said it was codes P0456 and P0457. After replacing the cap and clearing the codes they came back. After some research I found this part to be the culprit along with the gas cap. I replaced this part, cleared the codes again and then disconnected the battery for 5 minutes. Engine light and gasp cap light are gone and haven’t come back on. Also no codes, it’s been over 800 miles since replacing. Problem solved!

Part works as promised. Easy installation with the help of Google/YouTube. Cleared 2 codes for small evaporative leaks and loose gas cap code.

had a jeep code of Jeep Code P0456 . bought this Evaporative System Integrity Module and a vapor canister purge valve and removed code and the code never came back. I thought at first it was the gas cap bought the engine light kept coming back on after my gas tank went just below half a tank. So i replaced these 2 parts and it fixed it. The parts came in on time and was a perfect fit. I would recommend this product for 2015 jeep Cherokee v6.

Bei meinem 2013er Town&Country gab es Probleme mit dem Evap System. Die Kontrolllampe des Tankdeckels leuchtete und Fehlercodes wurden ausgegeben. Nach Erneuerung dieses Teils ( Schlauchanschluss anders positioniert als Original, aber trotzdem montierbar), Löschung der Fehler über OBD und kurzzeitigen Abklemmen der Batterie sind alle Fehler verschwunden.

Ordered this cause I had the dreaded notification check your gas cap on my dashboard of my 2015 Chrysler 200. Replace my gas cap was still getting message.
