Tough Riddles for Smart Kids: 500 Riddles and Brain Teasers that Will Challenge the Whole Family

I bought this book to provide material to amuse my grandson with by long distance during the Pandemic. It went pretty well for a while, but he soon tired of me sending him jokes by text. Not the fault of the book! The jokes are all pretty corny and well suited for the juvenile mind. I guess that says something about my mind, because I sometimes get a kick out of reading some of them for myself.

Great book. Bad layout/format. It always takes some time to find the answers to each section. All other books like this simply puts the answers in the back of the book in order. Not this one. The answers are scattered throughout the book.

Can't really review it as it was a gift to my grand nephew. Assuming he loves it

Kids loved them.My 7 year old found it quite tough, but my 11 year old took to them and enjoyed them.We have picked them at random and brings a healthy family discussion during lockdown.

I bought this as a Christmas present for an 11yr old who is very bright (I know I’m biased) who will enjoy this book. Saying that you don’t have to be very bright to get enjoyment out of it - it is evenly balanced.

Bought as a gift which I have not yet given. Thought all the family could get involved.

Given to 12 & 10yo boys.They're competitive, so they loved catching eachother & the "adults" out.It's a good way to encourage thinking from other perspectives & problem solving.Good value, I'd recommended. 5*

I returned this book as the format was too difficult for 10 year olds to cope with. The joke/question is in one part of the book and then searching is required to locate the chapter, section and page to find the answer/punch line. No thanks. Way too much hassle. Returned product.
