Musiclily 1650x7x1.5mm Plastic Binding Purfling Strip for Acoustic Classical Guitar, Ivory

This Product worked well for me
I am very satisfied with this product. The dimensions were accurate, within my ability to measure them. The 1.5 mm was just right, but the 7 mm was too much for my project. I taped it is place temporarily, and used a utility knife blade to scrape it to the approximate height I needed, then finished the process with the utility knife blade and sandpaper after gluing. The Shellac top coat I used adhered well. I was restoring an A style mandolin. Everywhere except the sharpest curve where the binding meets the neck, painters tape was all I needed for clamping. I use 4 inch strips about every inch. At the neck, I actually had to hold it in place with with a flat blade screwdriver blade until it set. The Bind-All glue I used set quickly, and I only had to hold each side for about 10 minutes. The final result is great.

Only Enough Material for Half a Guitar
I believe that the product description should make it clear that there is only enough binding for either the top or bottom binding on the average size guitar; not both. I wanted to install bindings on a baritone ukulele, but only had enough to complete the bottom binding. I then had to reorder another package to complete the job. Very inconvenient!I also found that the thickness was not the specified 1.5 mm, but instead measured 1.42- 1.43 mm. (Verified by 2 digital micrometers.)

Good for the money...
The binding works well, if you are careful. No tight bends, without care. Can be prone to breakage. But, overall, does the job..
