A good quality selection of a red Genovese type Basil. Excellent flavour, with good leaf shape and colour. A vigorous selection. Plant height 30-35cm. Sowing Time: February Onwards. Sowing instructions: Sow seeds from February onwards 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in good seed compost. Germination usually takes between 10 days to 2 week at 15-18C. Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 3in pots. Later harden off and plant out 14in apart into ordinary well drained soil in full sun when all risk of frost is past.
