Great product, ok price.
These figures are high quality representations of DC super heroes. I especially like the golden age flash, the lightening bolts are an awesome addition. My impression of the Batman is a little less favoriable. I had a damaged cape in my set, but lego is sending a replacement cape with no problems. Also the torso may be a slightly lower quality plastic. These both are minor gripes still 5/5.My biggest critism is that at msrp price the bags are little too expensive. The price puts it just out of an impulse buy range.I have read a couple of critisms about frequent doubles. This did not happen to me with these blind bags but has been a problem I have experienced with other blind bags. What I hypothesize (I'm sure I'm not the first) is that people are buying these in large numbers and returning the ones they don't want (you can feel the characters in the bag). Amazon should put reasonably limit returns to prevent too much of this practice. Perhaps 3 bags an account.

Photos are NOT misleading!
These are great - it is too bad that with the recent Collectible Minifigure series - this one and also Collectible Minifigure Series 20 - that Lego has raised the MSRP to $4.99. It was only $3.99 (for about the same amount of pieces) until very recently. If you are patient and shop around, you may find them a bit cheaper - I just purchased 3 for $2.49, Amazon had a brief sale, and so did Best Buy (got 3 there as well). Now, as much as the MSRP price point on these is a bit disappointing, how does anyone SERIOUSLY look at the photos, RIGHT NEXT TO the item title and description (not fine print, just a normal description) and not immediately realize that there are not 16 figures in the package for $5?? Anyone who is shocked to not get 16 minifigures for $5 does not have a clue how expensive Lego generally is. A Lego minifigure is generally worth at least $3-4, more if it is rare or discontinued. The photos are NOT deceptive marketing, that is NOT a fair criticism. They are just showing you photos of the entire collection that you can collect - IF you chose. The title and description CLEARLY states that you are buying 1 blind bag of 16 (blind meaning you don't know which of the 16 you might get). By the way, the box in the photos is a case of 60 figures. There are only 3 ways to guarantee you get each of the 16:1) Find a listing (on Amazon, Ebay, Bricklink, etc) where someone is listing all 16 as a large set (for about $80-100).2) Buy an entire case of 60, if you can find one, which will cost over $225 at least, and you'll be getting 3-5 of each figure. The case price will go up as the cases get harder to find.3) Look up a "feel guide", which will help you figure out what parts are inside the bag if you feel them at a store. Each minifigure will have some unique part (hair texture, accessory item, etc) that will allow you to determine which item it is without opening. This can be tricky to do and can take some time in the store - and you might get some awkward looks but guaranteed the employees are used to people doing it. You may not have 100% accuracy but it can be done. Brick-brothers.com publishes great Collectible Minifigure Series reviews and feel guides. By the way, purchasing in a store they probably won't hold you to the 3 per customer restriction.I do think that Lego's MSRP prices are trending in the wrong direction gradually (maybe it's just inflation?), but I had to post this review when I saw at least 3 reviews that had an unreasonable expectation of 16 minifigures for $5. If you are getting those kind of prices it is probably counterfeit Lego, which is always horrible quality. Lego is expensive for a reason - high quality.

Misleading product picture.
I admitted that I didn't read the product name carefully that it is "1 of 16" to collect. But the product page is somehow misleading. You don't get to choose the specific figure from the collection. So $4.99 for a random figure. Who knows if I order more than one, how do they choose the figure for you? If it's just for 1 figure, as customer, should have the chance to choose. Thus avoid the mistake. Not worth the money.

Picture is SUPER misleading.
I usually read reviews but definately overlooked this one... I honestly thought I was going to get the set of 16. Bought 3 of them thinking they were going to be awesome party favors only to have them arrive and there is literally only 3 out of 16.

Best DC Themed CMF Line
Compared to the previous DC Collectible Minifigure Lines (both based on the Lego Batman Movie), this new lineup featuring more characters from the DC Universe stands out. The prior lines were good, but generally pertained to characters from the Batman theme. For the purposes of this review, I received the Joker in my blind bag. Lego decided to give us the Joker as he appeared in "The Dark Knight Returns" comic series. He came with neat accessories (cotton candy and a Joker playing card), which look fantastic. I'm looking forward to collecting the fifteen other minifigures in the line, though I'll probably do this in person due to the nature of the CMF's blind bag concept. It should be noted that you may receive multiples of the same figure when ordering from Amazon.
