Works immediately, very straightforward install, typical battery install. Took to HP immediately, charges fast, holds charge for a reasonable amount of time.

Replaced battery in HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba125cl. Works - no BIOS warnings on boot up, though the battery is listed as discontinued from HP. You can only get non-HP replacement batteries for this model. At install the battery life is good, will revise if battery life changes. PLEASE NOTE: This is not as easy as some would lead you to believe for the model I have (14-ba125cl). Some youtube videos show the guy saying just remove the base (bottom) by removing the screws and replace the battery. Ah.. NOT CORRECT. Look for the videos that after removing the screws you need to use a plastic tool to lift the keyboard from the base to access the battery. If you have experience taking electronics apart this way you should be fine. Was not the 30min project I expected but with time and patience, working fine now. I recommend the replacement at this point, even if I have to do it in a year or so again. The HP battery in the unit was bulging, I'm glad I got to it before something disastrous happened. Before replacement I had about 30mn battery life.

does'nt hold charge that long but it might just be my laptop

I had the same HP Pavilion laptop since 2017 and its gone though 4 batteries from being used through high school and college. These replacements are very good. Very easy to install. The longevity has been hit or miss. The first replacement one I got lasted maybe a year but the second one lasted around 3 years. Good value, it lasts about 4 - 6 hours at normal work load. The little screw driver that comes with it is super helpful. You can most defiantly tell when the battery starts to get bad though, as it might only last from 1 hour to only 30 minutes. Overall, very good.

The replacement battery works great! It charged quickly. I would buy it again.

Purchased on 4-4-2023. Easy installation and correct fit. Six months later the battery only provided 10 minutes of power before the HP Pavilion 15Z-CD000 shutdown. At 9 months (1-5-24), the laptop would NOT power on even when connected to the power supply. Opened up the case and found one battery cell was badly swollen. It now measures 10.3 mm thick and the other two cells are 5.6 mm thick. Both photos show the swelling. One photo has a cardboard edge against the top battery surface and you can see the gap where the swelling prevented it from laying flat. Wasted my money upgrading the laptop with SSD and new battery; should have bought a new one like I did today.
