ACDelco Gold 17675R (18030062) Riveted Rear Drum Brake Shoe Set

I don’t always buy OEM due to cost, but Amazon had these at a decent price. I have a 1998 GMC c1500 2WD. I did spend a little more to get these because they are riveted over cheaper aftermarket glued brake shoes. I am glad I did. They fit great, are quiet, and should last a long time. My last set was aftermarket and wore out early and wore uneven. This set is also a little thicker starting out also.

They seem to work great. The truck stops well and I haven’t died yet! All good signs. I will say that the bottom hole for the tensioner spring is a little small so it took a little extra work to get the spring to snap properly into place. This made installation go a little slower and made me say a few unsavory words.

Purchase these for a 1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7 L older body style four-door. When you install these and you push in the brake cylinders, I had to bleed the air out of my brake cylinders, even though I didn’t open the hydraulic lines.

I always purchase OEM equipment and these AC Delco OEM brakes never seem to dissappoint. When installing disk brakes I always purchase the riveted brakes. I have had several of the glued brakes come off the metal frame. These brakes will last forever and most often need changed because of failure of the wheel cylinders or spring hardware before the actual brakes go bad. These brakes fit my 1994 C1500 WT pickup and were exact replacements.

Put these on my 1998 gmc c1500 pickup. Fit perfect.

Ordered this part…..received Wagner Z723. Doesn’t even fit, not even for same vehicle.
