Most Compact Flavor-of-an Electric Mistress Flanger
I am Passionate about Pedals & Effects. I do "Tons of Research" before making a purchase. I Play several-instruments, have a background in Audio Engineering & as a Producer. I needed an Electric Mistress Flanger to do a Police Tribute-show and this thing sounds incredible. I was Skeptical. The Mooer E-Lady = Tremendous Bang for the Buck . . . ( however ) in the spirit of Honesty . . . I did have to Repair/ReInforce a loose power adapter jack ( after using for several years ). - Michael - NYC -

Decent Clone Of the 1978-99 Deluxe Electric Mistress At Less Than 1/3 The Price
I used to have an Ibanez Flanger and I liked the huge "jet engine" effect. Newer flangers don't seem to have that pronounced of a jet effect like an Ibanez or MXR, but you can sort of approximate that with this one although it is not the main sound of this unit. This Mooer flanger tends to excel with more subtle oscillations that work best with 80's material like The Police, Pink Floyd, Heart, and Rush as opposed to Van Halen. This unit has a simple set of controls:- COLOR = adjusts the amount of signal being fed back into the flanger circuit. Clockwise to increase the feedback, full clockwise will achieve self-oscillation. WARNING: Go slow while turning the Color knob all the way clockwise, it can get VERY loud and piercing.- RANGE = Adjusts the range of the sweeping sound in normal mode, clockwise will widen the range.- RATE = Adjusts the speed of the flange effect in normal mode. Clockwise will speed it up.- MODES = Filter mode freezes the sweep, creating a static (non-oscillating) flange sound but can be adjusted with the Color and Range controls. Normal mode allows a regular, sweeping flange effect which sweeps through the frequency range set by the Range knob at the speed set by the Rate knob.I'm still getting acquainted with this pedal and I haven't really bonded with it yet (I'm more of a blues player) but am still experimenting with what it has to offer. It has a noticeable treble boost and a midrange bump that I am not crazy about with a single coil guitar, but will try it soon with humbuckers and see if I like that sound better. Will update this review and hope to post a short video when I can spend more time with it. One huge advantage of this pedal is it's small form factor, as it is easy to fit on a crowded pedal board. However that also means that it will not take a battery and will need a 9v power supply.

Very nice flanger with a neat trick
The media could not be loaded. Very cool flanger. It does the jet sound like you want with good controls. The switch to put it in a “frozen” filter is pretty cool. Could actually be useful to throw in an interesting tone in a break or on a lead lick. Nice little size. The main control is big enough to mess with onstage pretty quick if you had to. Metal case. Dig it.
