my son collects these books and really enjoys reading them - which is amazing because he's not really an avid reader. I will try just about any book that will hopefully start him on a journey towards a love of reading.As far as content, these are information books for Minecraft users, but I wouldn't say I'm experienced in the game enough to know much. What really matters to me is finding books that my 8 year old can enjoy and wants to read. So these books fit the bill and I plan to buy the whole collection. Amazon has the best price so far that I've found.

My son loves it. We were trying to complete the collection and this hard cover book was the missing piece. He read it and the others and enjoyed it. It was delivered in a timely manner and well packaged. I'd definitely recommend it.Ps. It is a handbook not a storybook, meaning it gives you ideas and detailed instructions on how to do things in-game.

This book is all about combat and mentions enemies weak points and your weapons durability and how much damage it causes. The book covers all mobs that are hostile towards the player and provides tips on how to win against them. The book also covers armor and the mechanics of the percent of reduced damage whenever the character wears certain armor! Not only that, but the books also provides information on how to brew every potion in Minecraft step by step! The book will also give advice on how to get the edge on fighting with other players in Pvp or player vs player and how to protect your home from online players being able to grief you. Its a great guide that covers more than combat and also mentions what villagers trade and which seek certain items to trade over others. In my opinion, this book deserves a 5 star rating!

I tried to convince him not to buy this because it's a video game, watch a video about it, but he insisted and books are good so... Anyway he likes it and thinks he knows everything about Minecraft now. Maybe he should make a video?! You could buy this book and make a video too!

The book is nice and colorful does explain how to do different things in the game. All the information can be found on the web, but for a child this would be more exciting Just because of the colorful graphics

Minecraft rules in our house lately with my two little men - ages 7 and 9!! They begged for this book and it did not disappoint. This is the updated version and according to them there is plenty of new stuff that it was worth using their allowance money to purchase even though they have the original version as well! They will be saving up to buy the rest of the updated versions. They give this one 2 thumbs up!

Easy enough for my 7-8 yr old son to read. Obvious obsession with minecraft helped but got him to read some nonfiction he is interested in. We picked up some cool tips and info for when we both play

My son is obsessed with Minecraft. Me I don't know much about it lol but he was ecstatic when he got this yesterday and it has not left his side yet. It is hardcover and a perfect size for little hands. It has everything you need to know about the Minecraft combat stuff with pictures. He's teaching me some but it's confusing for the adults who don't know anything! Lol All I know is that Minecraft fans will love it.
