Very Best Of

This CD is nothing to brag about. Some good & bad recordings. Some songs I never heard of and the ones that I did , really didn't sound that good. I don't recommend this CD.

John Lee Hooker is without a doubt, one of the Best in the Blues Business!! I had always heard of John Lee Hooker, but not really paid any attention to his remarkable pieces of work!! His music is like having B.B. King, The Wolf, and Muddy Waters all together at a concert of Blues Legends. The guy is a Legend all by himself!!

Great cd music collection, the price is a deal. If you love John Lee Hooker’s music or haven’t heard it, it’s worth the cost to check it out. Really love the second disc, good early acoustic tracks on it. Would buy again.

I happened to see a video of John Lee Hooker and I loved the music. I like listening to music like this when I'm driving and he did not disappoint.

John Lee recorded for 70 years. There are a lot of uninspiring albums. This compilation is wonderful. My opinion: he's the best of the Chess-era blues artists. This is an awesome collection.
